Metro Kitchen is a modern looking restaurant with delicious food presented extremely well. Unfortunately, on this occasion the service was very slow (Wednesday night) but I think this may not be the norm. I had the roasted chicken and enjoyed it thoroughly, my colleagues all ordered different dishes and enjoyed theirs too. Cost of a main meal was around £14-16.

I came here last year for my graduation and again last week for a romantic meal. The early bird menu is incredible value - £14.95 for a starter (good selection of choices and vegetarian options), main course and a glass of wine (with steak for a minor supplement). The food was delicious, cooked to perfection, and the staff were attentive... More

We call into the Metro from time to time and recently paid two visits on consecutive weeks, (Handy for QFT). One visit was on a Groupon deal however on each occasion our experience was very positive. Our food and wine were very good and the staff friendly and efficient. No doubt we'll be back next time we're up at QFT.

Ate here a couple of years ago and had a lovely meal so not sure if it has gone down the tubes or if using a voucher equates to second rate food. Duck and pork belly mains both had the same problem, cooked by some one who has yet to learn how to render fat. Pork belly was also crying... More

The pen is mightier than the sword – and Metro Kitchen. I recently visited Metro Kitchen in Lower Crescent one Sunday along with some about 30 friends from a walking club for our monthly social event. It was not a joyous occasion – Metro Kitchen worked very hard to achieve that and were successful. I thought about a suitable metaphor... More
