We were pleasantly surprised by the value and choice on the pretheatre menu. The cheese starter was definitely my favourite but a little taste of the very smooth pate was yummy too (& a little cocktail helped things along too.) my main was also the hit of the night.....the pork belly. Delicious (although the others liked their dishes too..two had... More

No fancy decor but the food was very good. Quite private in the interior, doesn't look particularly welcoming from the street but it is pleasant inside. The food is it's best feature. We chose it for a mixed group if acquaintance going out together on an outing. It worked well for everyone.

Had a great meal with group of mates, just before Christmas. The atmosphere was buzzing and busy. The food was excellent and the service quick. The food is a bit pricey but worth it. The beer selection is good and location is convenient. Would highly recommend.

What a fantastic meal! We visited on a cold January night but received a warm welcome on our arrival. We chose from the Pre theatre menu and had the cheese fritters and chicken parfait for starters. Presentation was excellent and both dishes very good. We then chose the pork belly and fish & chips for our mains. The pork belly... More

Howard St. is in a great location around the corner from City Hall. We enjoyed the dimly lit romantic and cozy atmosphere and the food was excellent and creatively presented. The ribeye was to die for (though the chips were not great). The goat cheese appetizer and onion soup were great. Their salmon dish was really the highlight of our... More

Sonia and I dropped into Howard Street last night for dinner - the menu outside pulled us in. The place and service were immediately warm. Sonia commented that there were just SO many items on the menu that she really liked the sound of and turned to the waiter to help her make her choices (she went for the chicken... More

The food and presentation were of a very high standard. We ordered from the pre-theatre menu on which there was an excellent choice - £15.95 for two courses. We had pate and deep fried blue cheese for starters. For main course my friend had pork belly while I had chicken - all cooked, garnished and served to perfection. We didn't... More

Chose restaurant based on super TripAdvisor reviews....and we weren't disappointed! Unusual cocktails to be tried. Delicious meal, we both had fish dishes, and good service from our waiters. Certainly recommend.

Lovely restaurant which was situated only a couple of minutes from our hotel. Me and my partner had intended visiting here due to the ratings it had recieved on tripadvisor and we were not dissapointed. The food itself was of a high standard(i had the fish cakes on a bed of salmon for my main) and the menu was pretty varied...
