We visited the Folklore for lunch, twice during our stay. The 'Special', was home-made soup (beautiful) with an egg baguette and salad (very tasty & filling, plus a glass of wine for only £6. They also offer 2 steaks, 2 sides, 2 sauces & 2 glasses of wine for only £25. The Bistro is situated above Cosgroves Bar in King... More

Well presented and extremely tasty would recommend highly. The staff were very friendly and efficient showing a high standard of proffessionalism ...

Curiosity finally got the better of us and we decided we were going to give Folklore a shot. We got the warmest of welcomes from Christine who was chatty and helpful ( a real asset to this restaurant). Starters were tasty and quite substantial. Annemarie had some mussels and loved them. I had a burger as my main and it... More

Me, my mum, auntie and aunties cousin all went over to Belfast for a wee day out. We asked a woman somewhere we could have lunch and a drink that wasn't a pub and she recommended here. Very good recommendation! The fish and chips was lovely, fresh fish with no bones and chips were cooked perfectly! The steak was the... More

Decided to pop in for some lunch and pleasantly surprised. The restaurant upstairs was nicely decorated, love the table design, in par with Belfast mural scape and we were advised some of e artists were local. Waitress really friendly. Had a main and glass of vino, albeit small for £6. Chicken goujons and chicken burgers went down nicely and were... More

When we arrived at the Ibis Hotel across the street, my mom and I figured we'd better eat here seeing as it's right across the street. The decorations are lovely and the space is quaint. A delicious meal and I'm sure the bar was great too but we didn't go down there. Would recommend!

Came here as a double date. We were the only diners in the entire place which is a bit shocking considering it was 8pm on a Saturday evening! The place is above a bar which had live entertainment. This noise heavily filters through to the restaurant - we could barely hear eachother and had to shout. It made it really... More
