Great food but.....

Go here at least once a week and the food is undoubtedly fab. Downside is that I have witnessed a few occasions where the approach to table management is a bit OTT. Could put people off.

Enjoyed some Irish stew and a good sandwich at the grapevine. Cafe style restaurant with lots of variety. Sandwiches and soup all seem handmade which is always preferred over pre-made ones. Enjiy the alley with the various shops around.

We have had the pleasure of eating in this delightful little eatery on two occasions recently. Really happy to find healthy, tasty options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. I had their vegetarian Gumbo and a great big Greek Salad. The dressing was delicious. The next time I had a brown bagel with cream cheese and maple bacon. It was... More

Been here a number of times for lunch and its always consistently good. The Chicken and Prawn Gumbo is my go to however the Chilli supreme is good for a few sins! Love it here and it is incredible value.

Had 'French Hunters stew'. Almost impossibly large. puy lentils, potato, chunks of bacon, in some sort of stock/soup, and bread. £4.95. The rest of the stuff looked excellent including a massive lasagne. Well worth it, and not filled with all the usual normal lunch time fayre. And the staff are great.

I'm a lunch regular here. Small and comfy spot in a quiet alley, nice staff, tasty local food with some different twist as well. Love their soups. Definitely a place I'd recommend!

We were very pleased to have this place recommended, it's so refreshing to have actual options for vegetarians instead of the usual bowl of pasta or dreary mushroom with any old thing. And it's deicious, and a lot cheaper than expected! (We had baked potato, and veggie gumbo with warm wheaten.) Staff were superbly efficient and good at their jobs

Really good food, you can tell its good quality food and the menu has been well thought out. The queue gets long but the staff are very quick. I would recommend the soups and the gumbo is a big hit in my office!

Dropped in for lunch after finding the reviews on tripadvisor to be so good and wasnt disappointed. It was a wet a cold at the weekend and we wanted something hearty and warming simple food which is why this cafe was perfect,. Nice little cafe off the main track and very busy which is a good sign. There are tons... More
