Fantastic find in the Cathedral Quarter when visiting friends in Belfast. However, we hadn't a reservation, but without any fuss, the staff got us a table and we never felt rushed even although the restaurant was filling up and no doubt they had a table reservation - credit to the professionalism of the staff. Well do team Salt, great meal... More

Had dinner here on Saturday evening. Didnt have a booking but was able to get a seat anyway, not sure if that is maybe a bad sign. I picked from the pre-theatre menu which was about £18 for 3 courses which isnt bad. I picked the duck salad which was quite nice although not alot of it then the burger... More

I was just wandering about after having a coffee at "established" and opted to have lunch here. Very pretty restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. I went on a weekday for a late lunch and was quite satisfied with the menu choices, the service and the quality of food. This is a developing area with a well respected arts center, galleries... good job we reserved as they were turning people away at the door. This restaurant certainly lived up to its reputation. The food was excellent. My only negative is that a lot of the staff seemed inexperienced and it showed in the service, lack of attention to detail. It did not take from our enjoyment however.

Went here for the first time last Saturday. We picked here through the reviews on Tripadviser . We weren't dissapointed. The staff from start to finish were most attentive. The menu had plenty to choose from, also there were daily specials. There was a good selection of wines which were reasonably priced. Would definitely go back here again.

Good 10£ lunch (2courses!) tasty, fresh and simple. Service and staff could be a bit more knowlegeable and the service faster. Good time overall!

Stumbled on this restaurant after our first choice was unavailable. We were made to feel very welcome from the start and the food was great, both the fish and meat courses. Main waiter constantly checking if all was ok. Very reasonably priced too. Well done
