Great evening

5 of us on my stag weekend booked a meal for Saturday just gone. We were seated in a timely manner and we all opted for the set menu. Prompt friendly service throughout. Asahi on draught was nice. Very tasty and all the chaps felt this was a great meal. The main course itself was very large... read more

The first time I visited was actually not too bad a night for N.I standards so we sat outside. The heaters were on and it was lovely quiet and cosy. The service and food was fabulous. The next time around April we ate inside. The decor is lovely. Tables quite close together but again the foo and service was great.... More

I went here with friends on 2 different occasions. On the first trip I had the soft shell angry crab starter and it was fantastic. We went again a few weeks later with a larger group of friends and I highly recommended this dish which almost everyone ordered. It was awful and I felt terrible because obviously nobody likes it!!... More

We visited House of Zen for a second time recently. This time we had cocktails which were very good and quite large. To start I had chili prawns while my boyfriend had the shredded beef - both were very tasty. For main we shared the honey pepper chicken which we've had before and, a new choice for us, the curry.... Walked in off the street, an interesting menu. Aromatic crispy lamb was a 1st but was tasty. Service very good.

Food was good, but a little expensive for chinese! The steak signature dish was very nice (about £19), however standard chinese dishes like salt & chili chicken was nice but nothing special to justify the price compared to normal chinese. Service was very good and I would return. Starter portions a little small but nice

Pretty good food, too dark with very little lighting for my liking but the meal was good. Worth a try though, reservations too be made before hand as me and my partner turned up but luckily they had two seats spare.

I have visited Belfast on a regular basis since 2006 and I have always been disappointed by the restaurants in the city centre. I suppose that it is possible that I have not gone to the right places. However, this visit my eating out experience was much better. This visit I stayed in the Ramada Encore hotel and by accident... More
