Quality lunch time visit

I used to go to the parent restaurant, Zen in Adelaide street, but felt it had lost quality in resent years. I went here for the lunch time menu, and for ten pounds it's hard to beat. A good lunch selection, I had the salted chilli prawns to start and beef on crispy noodles for the main. Just... read more

We were a family group of 5 and were impressed by the quality of the food, portion sizes, value for money and the general friendly environment of this restaurant. No problem about considering a return visit. Highly recommended.

My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely gorgeous with a huge choice on the menu. A lot of the dishes on offer were not the normal Asian fare so it was great to try new dishes. They also have an extensive cocktail menu that in my opinion are on a par with those... More

Honestly would have had a better tasting meal at a takeaway and at a quarter of the price , the food is tasteless and the portions are tiny . I asked for my meal to be extra spicy and it still came bland , I'll defiantly not be back the £60 bill that came with this experience will be witness... More

One of my favourite places too eat, I'm there at least once a month. Food & service are top notch. I also recommend the Chinese roasted duck it's unreal 👍🏼

Worth a visit! Does require a reservation though, can be a long wait for your table if you are with a large party. No complaints however, loved both visits. Will be back in the future.

Went to House of Zen twice in one week to celebrate my birthday. Definitely a good place to go for occasions - maybe avoid a romantic meal on a Saturday night; the place is buzzing with a party atmosphere. The cocktails are great, food portions are pretty big and good value for money! Staff are top notch - very friendly

The squid was dissappointing, rubbery and flavourless and completely over priced. Main course was luke warm. Dessert was really sad, 3 scoops of ice cream that you would give to a five year old described as a strawberry scallitaelli. The cocktails on the other hand were brilliant and unique. I expected the meal to be of the same quality of... More

Had booked a table for 8 people about a week or 10 days in advance of our arrival. We were seated in a booth, which to be honest for 8 people was quite cramped by the time all the food arrived. Not sure if there was bigger tables we could have been seated at or not. We had very little... More

Reasonable night but very loud and rowdy (couple of hen nights in!) although the food was good. All in all a great night out and a super way to kick off a Saturday night!
