I lived in India for a few years, and consequently, have very high standards when it comes to food from the Indian subcontinent. I have only had take-away from the Kathmandu Kitchen, but everything I've had so far has been excellent. The dishes have a very clean flavor, as distinct from a lot of restaurants where the spices are muddied...

We were a little nervous to try this restaurant as the flashing lights outside were a bit off putting and it was impossible to view the interior of the restaurant and see if anyone else was eating already. However we had a warm welcome from the staff who were friendly and helpful and there were a couple of other tables...

Kathmandu mention they offer vegan choices on their website and that was what brought me into this lovely friendly restaurant. We stopped off for lunch and stepping in from the cold we were given a very friendly welcome. I asked if the set lunch offered any vegan dishes and the waiter was most helpful talking me through every dish making...

Not that different from an Indian restaurant really but food was very tasty. We had a very long wait between the starter & main course which to be fair the waiter apologied for and gave us all a free beer. If you're a fan of Indian food then certainly pay it a visit.
Been a couple of times and find staff ok. Food is fine. Not much difference between Indian and Nepali cuisine. Lunch specials small but adequate also. Worth a try.
After days of eating in pubs & restaurants as we cycled along the coast of Northern Ireland, we sought an Indian restaurant in Belfast. The cuisine is Indian & Nepalese. We each had delicious mixed plates, plenty of food, spicy but too hot to eat. Price was reasonable.
my partner and i went here on a sat night, well where do i start, the service was terrible the food was terrible, the staff didnt seem to be able to cope with being under pressure and busy, the waiter suggested i try a different dish to what i would usually get in another restaurant and i said i would...

We shared tandoori prawns as a starter which were quite good, for mains we had butter chicken and the Sekuwa lamb, both were very tasty but the butter chicken...

Dropped in on a Wednesday evening for a meal while exploring the area. Very helpful and friendly waiter advised my daughter and I - tthe Nepalese lamb and vegetarian options we chose were very tasty. Bill for food and a couple of beers was £30. It was delicious food, well presented and lovingly prepared to a high standard.
