Non for profit cafe and community hub based in the Holylands area of South Belfast. We serve award winning Fairtrade coffee, hearty lunches, daily soups, stews and curries along with delicious deserts. Cinnamon Scones are renowned locally while our Yumm Bowl and Falafel Burger are hugely popular.

We offer many home made and locally sourced products, along with a wide and varied range of vegetarian options. Trading ethical is a cornerstone of what we do, while all our profits are given away to support humanitarian projects in the developing world.

Lovely coffee shop to relax in. The staff are extremely friendly and service is great. Coffee is tasty and they also serve a wide range of flavoured teas. The cakes look delicious and I'm sorry I didn't indulge. Their couches are ideal if you want to set up to study or work for the afternoon. Cute little spot to visit.

Common grounds is a fantastic coffee shop with an awesome motive! It's so great that all profits go directly to charities! The food and coffee is always excellent, their sandwiches and salads are always spot on, coffee tastes great and the staff are really friendly! A must for those who are in and around the university area!

Love to get lunch here when in Belfast... I feel I've eaten something very healthy but always tasty... You need to find it first not easy first time but when you do it's a great place to sit on a sunny afternoon. Busy at lunchtime so save that slot for food and call for a coffee 'off peak'. You can... I enjoy this place, it is always busy, and a great feeling about this place. Plenty to choice from on the menu.

Lovely cafe with a charitable business model and option to leave a prepaid coffee or bite to eat for someone who needs it more than you. Try the Yumm Bowl!

A fantastic chilling space and beautiful caffeine experience. Well worth a visit for an alternative to 'corporate' coffee
