Tasty food & Excellent Service

Lovely menu with different choices for vegetarians. A lot of thought went into the presention of food. Everyone's meal in our party of 5 was delicious and we all had 3 courses. We will definately be back!

Waiting staff very welcoming and friendly throughout. Not overly busy for a Saturday night but service was slower than I would have expected. Starters were fine. I had a pork fillet main which was lovely and the couple we were with enjoyed theirs too, however my husband's partridge was raw in the middle. Staff were very apologetic and it was... More

Originally booked this with a crowd of work colleagues for an informal Christmas dinner, and one of of the reasons we went for it was that it was BYO. Menu looked great and all were very excited. However we got a call the day before the booking to say that the restaurant's liquor license was coming through on the day... More

Before I begin, there ARE minor faults. The faults however couldn't detract from my overall impression. Welcome was pleasant and bottle of tap water presented immediately. As this restaurant is a BYO we were prepared and had a bottle of red under our arm. The menu was of a great standard and was just the right size to indicate everything... More

I went a couple of weeks ago for my tea, and enjoyed so much I ended up having 4 courses. Interesting scallop and pulled pork dish, maybe the meat slightly too heavy for the excellently cooked large scallops. The main of Partridge (which I went back for last Friday) was toooo die for!! a roasted bird with the legs confited... More

From the moment you enter to when you leave the service is helpful and always with a smile. The staff know the menu well and can advise on what to choose from a very wide and interesting selection of unusual dishes. Whether you go for the sea food or meat choices you will not be disappointed and as it is... More

I have eaten in a great many places and thought I paid too much in many and been surprised by the value in others. Bistro Este is at the higher end of the price bracket then i suppose, but in my view and experience you only get what you pay for. I went to Bistro Este which is at Ballyhackamore... More

We ate here as a group of 6 last week. On the whole really enjoyed the food but not sure we will return as other restaurants provide better value and just as good a meal. Like previous reviewers some of us had the scallops starter, however £8.50 for two scallops is unreasonable. All the main courses are priced between £12... More
