I had been dying to try Safa for months after hearing such fantastic reviews. I was planning a meal for my anniversary + we both love Indian food. By chance an offer came up on treat ticket for 2 people, so we took advantage. Our meal was lovely but my partner felt his chicken madras had been skimped on not... More

Based on reviews, we went to Safa. What a let down! ! Service took so long and food had no taste. Difficult to find an Indian style in what we ate. At first there was no tandoori chicken, which is at least a standard dish for Indian food. All dishes we took such as tika and tandoori (lamb or prawn)... More

I found the atmosphere to be pleasant, nice and quiet and relaxing. The food was delicious, very nice flavours and a good variety of choices (I am vegetarian) quite small inside, but gives it a cosy feeling. One of the best indian restaurants I have been to. Helpful and friendly staff, will definitely return soon.

Despite our surprise at the location (above Kelly Cellars) we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the restaurant. The setting and ambience was perfect. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was... More

Enjoyed our meal and received great service. Will be back again with friends. The only down side is that the restaurant is tucked away in a little street and has no parking outside. ( need to park in the nearby shopping centre. ) but not a big deal

Nice restaurant. Excellent service. But item wise price is bit high. But I think set/ early bird price is ok.

My dining experience at Safa was one of exceptional quality. The service was very good, the waiter was very polite and helpful, and the food was served quickly. Once our meal arrived I knew it would be good, the curry was very rich in colour and aroma. I tasted it and I knew it was made of top quality natural... More
