We went to Safa for lunch yesterday - it was £8.95 for two courses. The menu was not very extensive but what they had on offer was very good. I had the vegetable pakora to start and then vegetable biryani for the main course. The flavours in the food were very good. The only thing I would say that the... More

Went to safa today and had one of the best dinner ever.. The goat curry was truly gratifying.. great service albeit being really busy tonight... I, as a student in Belfast it was great to see goat meat which reminded me of back home, would like to recommend safa to everyone craving for a clean scrumptious meal

I have NO idea how this place was voted the 'Best Indian Restaurant in Belfast'. Who voted for this? And more importantly why? We were very disappointed with the small portions and the fact that the service could be improved by the waiting staff paying more attention to the diners. The food is just average...certainly nothing special....& after such a... More

Quite possibly one of the worst dining experiences of my life. No idea how they were recently voted 'the best Indian restaurant in Belfast'. Would not recommend. Hard to know where to start. Not offered a drink when we arrived; constantly ignored by passing waiters. Had to yell THREE times to (a) get a waiter to take our wine order... More

We chose this restaurant on the basis of recommendations on the Trip Advisor forums and were pleased that the staff in our hotel also thought it was a good choice as well. The poppadoms and chutneys were excellent and our lamb and potato skins starter was very tasty, but a little on the small side for the price. My husband... More

Recently dined at Safa, we had the samosa and veg pakora to start and chicken chilli masala and chicken bhuna with pilau rice and naan for main. Service was good and the food really good- I'll definitely be back and would recommend to others
