Because of consistent satisfaction, Safa is now becoming a regular venue for family gatherings. The food is always excellent, and the staff are welcoming and attentive, without being intrusive. If you love Indian food, I would not hesitate to recommend Safa.

We visited Safa as I purchased a Groupon voucher as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and we went last night. The waiters were very welcoming and attentive. I asked many questions about the different sauces and they answered helpfully. The food was delicious, well presented and filled my plate and belly. I loved the hot towel touch at the... More

I returned to Safa for dinner on Friday evening. It never disappoints. It was great to see a full house - the news about Ali Safa's great cooking is deservedly getting around among locals and visitors alike. I would highly recommend Safa to everyone who loves great, fresh Indian cooking... without additives or artificial colourings. To find the restaurant, just... More

Visited Safa with 7 friends today for lunch. This is the second time we have visited the restaurant and the quality of the food was as enjoyable as the first visit. The staff are very attentive. The lunch menu excellent value. A very nice selection of red and white wines. We finished with coffee royal's and even though these weren't... More

Had got a Grab one voucher for an indian platter and processo for 2 at Safa. Never again will I be conned with a Grab one voucher nor will I be back in Safa. It turned out to be the sharing starter which was very poor. It was very small for £9.95. It was a couple of bits and pieces.... More

Cannot fault. Being a Belfast'ian I've tried nearly all the Indian restuarants in Belfast and Safa is most definitely in the top 2. Good fresh food bursting with genuine Indian flavour. Warm, friendly and efficient service, within a nice and cosy city centre setting with outside parking. It ticks all the boxes and fairly hits the spot !

We ate at the restaurant on Valentine's night and just have to say how disappointed we were. Service was great just like on our previous visits but the food was bland and poor. Really hope it was just a one off but when you are paying £60 per couple I would have expected better

We ate here late on a Saturday night in January - the Restaurant is fairly compact but 'bijou' per Stephen Fry ... staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient - food was very nice ... and I know preferences are very personal but I would have liked a bit more spicy. Ingredients were fresh and authentic however. Price was reasonable... More
