Travelled to Belfast for a mid-week break with my Boyfriend. Stayed in the Hilton and wanted to eat out on our first night. The gentleman on reception at the hotel recommended Safa so we thought we'd go there because we love Indian food. Oh my gosh...we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, and so flavoursome, the ambiance was lovely... More

As far as Indian Cuisine in Belfast, this is the best. Go here constantly for Birthdays/Anniversaries and I am always greeted by the same fantastic staff. I am unsure whether it's coincidental or not, however any time my girlfriend and I go (Which has been about six times this year) we're always welcomed by the same person, and puts us... More

I was a 'Facebook friend' with Safa before being in the restaurant or eating there! But on our May 'date night' I took my wife to Safa. Now while the approach to the restaurant isn't that great, the inside is delightful! décor and ambience is great! Having booked in advance we were shown to our table immediately on arrival. We... We Went here after reading excellent reviews. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and seated at a table. The decor was excellent very clean and tidy. The food was excellent my partner said it was the best Indian meal she has ever had and I must agree with her. The only thing I can fault is the pub... More

My partner, Sonia, and I had a table in Safa yesterday evening. I was undecided between a Jalfrezi and a Balti. In the end, on staff recommendation, I went for the chettined. Again on recommendation, Sonia went for a rezala. Sonia, who doesn't usually share my enthusiasm for Indian food, thought hers was delicious and will happily return. A significant... More

We ate here some time ago, as it is consistently number 1 on trip advisor as far as Indian's go. The first time we were quite under-whelmed but we decided to give it another go nonetheless. We went as a family, were greeted with a very warm welcome. Service was at times a little slow and there were only two... More
