Lovely staff, food pretty good too!

We had a voucher of some description, not even sure from where, but we still were treated so well in here. Lovely staff, good banter, the food was good. Really good main course from their specialty list with spinach, it was yum. Will be back.

My husband and I paid our 2nd visit here on Easter Tuesday and it didn't disappoint. I had a dish I had never had before and it was delicious. We will be back.

Happened across this restaurant while visiting Belfast. While the service was excellent, the food was a little disappointing

This restaurant sits close to the centre of Belfast, tucked behind the old Bank Buildings (or Primark if you are younger). It's perched above Kelly's Cellars, pleasant inside, with really friendly staff. On the basis of newspaper reviews, trip advisor, and personal recommendations, we were really looking forward to our visit. Starters were good, and we thought things were fine,... More

I'm big into my Indians being a veggie!! They always have so much choice.. So when a friend recommended I try Safa .. I just thought last night after a really busy week in work- I'm getting a takeaway and trying it out!! Well it was worth the jaunt into city centre to get it- yum yum yum!! Such fab... More

Forget any bad reviews - Safa is a very good Indian Restaurant. Saleem the manager was very on the ball - very pleasant service indeed! Possibly overly cautious initially about recommending gluten free items from menu (e.g. chickpea flour, lentil flour are safe options) - but we quickly sorted this out (having said that caution here is a good thing)!... This was a good meal but with all the restart rants around offering great good with pre theatre prices I felt this was a little bit expensive when dining alone. It was a bit hard to find but was worth a visit. I probably wouldn't return alone but would definitely go again if I was accompanied as they seem to... More

My friends and I had the groupon starters and prosecco deal for 4. The food we got was nice but we should have ordered more as it was not substantial enough for a lunch. However we forgot ourselves with the lovely Prosecco and only ordered the popadoms as extra. One of our friends was vegetarian and there was limited choice... More

Very good service but I don't think this is a particularly good Indian restaurant. Pit pricey for what you get as well, so keep an eye out for the vouchers. Nothing bad about the place but I won't be rushing back.

My wife & I went to Safa on Groupon deal which was a sharing platter with a bottle of prosecco. We had to wait a long time before anyone cane to take our order. The waiter eventually took the order and once it came, we were very disappointed as the poritions for the sharing platter was very small. For £9.95,... More
