pleasently surprised

Visited on Thursday evening 20th Aug. Service was a little slow-we were told that one of the chefs had phoned in sick, but the all of the food was fresh, tasty and the meat of good quality. Will definitley go back again.

Visited here on our first night in Belfast, as it was in walking distance of where we were staying. The food itself was okay, but nothing special, and found it a little expensive to comparable Indian restaurants elsewhere.

I was reading the reviews and I wasn't sure if I can trust them. They were either too positive or too negative. We decided to go coz it near to us. We had a mixed platter and was okay and fast. For the mains it took so long. Food was okay. Wasn't as bad as I read or as awesome... More

Excellent food in a nicely decorated restaurant, was served by a nice and friendly man named Bilal and also some of his colleagues. The chilli & cheese naan was the hottest i've ever had thanks to the extremely fresh green chillies. I would definitely recommend SAFA to any fellow indian food lover. I will be returning next time i'm in... More

Really enjoyed this meal the food was to die for. Myself and my partner are real indian food lovers and I have to say that this was up in our top 3. The atmosphere was great and the people running the establishment were fantastic and very friendly. We'll be back without a doubt

Take the time to find this gem. We had actually planned to go to Mourne Seafood but we were turned away for not having a reservation on a Tuesday night... We stumbled on Safa around the corner and decided to try it. The food was incredible, and we truly had a wide range of dishes. The lamb saag was absolutely... More

We arrived late on a Wednesday night (10.45) and the friendly staff were very happy to welcome us into what is a very nice, well designed Indian restaurant. The menu was very good with staples alongside some very imaginative and tasty specialities of the house.... the whole Seabass was beautiful while the king prawns and vegetarian options were very good... This place started of good then dipped probably like all Indian restaurants in Belfast, foods poor and it's over priced, and don't leave a negative comment on their Twitter or Facebook accounts as they will block you without reply.
