The food is your basic pub fare - nothing gastro about it. satisfying and most likely intended for the tourist traffic it gets lots of.
The Bistro has excellent offers for theatregoers. As we were travelling to the Lyric - no great public transport there so we had to take a taxi there and back -we did not have time to avail of the specials on two and three courses, so we ordered a main course from the ordinary menu. Haven't been to Belfast for a while but this time I headed straight for 'Robinsons' (Handy if one stays at the Travelodge just behind the pub.) Their banters and mash were as good as ever and together with a pint of G it was just what I needed :)
food was giant portions and fantastic quality. nice atmosphere in restaurant. Bar was nice too
