A quirky and usually styled venue. The top floor is reminiscent of a retro New York club. The dining room is a little more comfortable though just as off-beat. The menu is a little limited but in keeping with the venue it is a little different in theme and content. A party of 11 of us went for a meal.... More

Was in last week with a group of friends getting a bite to eat and a few drinks. I got a pork chilli dog from the £5 lunch menu and it was hands down the best I've had yet!! Also got a "devil in a red gown", "origins" and "zombie" cocktails and they were delicious, they were very well priced... More

Went in for dinner. There was only 2 other tables occupied when we entered. Were told they'd have to check if the chef had enough food to serve us. Which seemed odd as it wasn't remotely busy. The menu was written in a foreign language, which I assume imbues the establishment with a european edge or some such pretentious drivel... More

When I first walked in to the restaurant I was a bit apprehensive about the staff not in any kind of uniform but from the moment we sat down I felt totally at ease and began to thoroughly enjoy the strange decor. Then the food came;wow, the presentation epic but like I always say "you don't measure taste with your... More

Another drop into Love and Death for one of their £5 lunchtime specials. The relaxed atmosphere in here means that although it is a bar I feel comfortable with my glass of diet coke, my kindle, headphones on and under no pressure to hurry myself. Staff are always pleasant and unassuming (more than happy to be called 'man' and 'dude')... More

In Belfast for a weekend with friends. All a bit hungover so looking for a place to eat and relax. We were in the middle of town and looked at the gasto end of the market and it was all a bit far away. This place had a good review in the Telegraph article we were looking through so we... More

My parents are visiting from the states, so I brought them over for the £5 lunch special. Missed the snack box though! But my Caesar salad was delicious, and I had a side of the truffled Mac and cheese which was the best Mac and cheese I've had anywhere in Belfast yet! My mom had the fish and chips and... More

I like this place a lot. Great comic book theme throughout with a cool menu, the food and the physical menu! The staff are very friendly in both the bar on the 3rd floor and the restaurant on the 2nd. The Decor is different, simple and make do but it works. The food is awesome. We were a party of... More

How a place with such imagination and style in its cocktails can have such a boring and imaginative food menu is puzzling. I will be back (often) for what are without doubt the best cocktails in Belfast but will give the food a miss. Score given is for the bar, bar staff and cocktail menu ( not the usual list... More
