Welcome to the Belvedere Cafe Restaurant. We are a popular family friendly cafe during the day and BYO restaurant when the lights go down sitting right in the heart of the bustling Cregagh. Serving wholesome, seasonal food in comfortable, relaxed surroundings over two floors we endeavour to source most of our ingredients from local suppliers. From cosy coffee chats to belt-busting breakfasts, light lunches to succulent steaks, we are here to keep your tummies and your wallets happy! We also love a good party, so if you are planning a bit of a do, drop us a line and see what we can do.

My first review was deleted as the owner claimed that I didn't eat or stay at her cafe (to tripadvisor) so here it is again, with her private correspondence to me. Our group arrived in 2 parts, 2 minutes apart. The first group arrived just before 3 and then me and my partner arrived. The first two were allowed to... More

We have eaten in the Belvedere on a number of occasions, the most recent being 14-Feb (Valentine's night). We have experienced great food and service on all occasions. On our last visit (14-Feb), we were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine and shown straight to our table. The restaurant was busy - the background music relaxing - and the... More

Have been to the Belvedere several times and we have never had a bad experience. Service has been exceptional every time, even during really busy periods. Quality and selection of food offered/served makes this one of my favourite places to eat. I'm always fussy about coffee going cold and this has never happened during any of our trips. Great food... I visited yesterday with a friend-cosy atmosphere, lovely decor. Our order was taken promptly and my piri piri chicken on ciabatta with skinny fries arrived soon after. The chicken was packed with flavour and the bread soaked up the delicious juices. Will definitely return again!

After a bit of Christmas shopping, I brought my Dad here today for lunch. There's just something about this place - it's so warm and inviting. It's very different. In the nicest way, maybe it brings me back to a coffee shop from my childhood, although I'm sure why! We had a gorgeous, well filled sandwich each. The cajun chips... More

After a thoroughly enjoyable evening ,giving my Liver a thrashing,I had the gracious invitation to join a few locals for breakfast and sample the warm welcome offered at the Belvedere. It's a short hop in a Taxi from the City center, and well worth the diversion. To be honest i was expecting Formica tables and typical British ambiance. I couldn't have been... More

We had visited this same restaurant a couple of years previously, when it was Polish, and it was ropey then. However, the three of us called in this morning for breakfast, and it is very different. Firstly, it was warm, there was background music, and welcoming. It's not all about the food you know! Secondly, the grub was delicious! I... More

Visit here regularly with my sister for Saturday afternoon coffees and or lunches. Always greeted with fabulous service. Relaxed atmosphere and good value for money. Recently hired the upstairs of this place out for a baby shower event and we were catered for wonderfully. Vegan and vegetarian friends were accommodated and it proved to be a very reasonably priced option... More
