Firstly, there are positives. The food is very nicely presented, seating comfortable (although there was a draught at times) and lovely atmosphere. But all this doesn't compensate for poor staff and mediocre/substandard food. Of our group, 3 were generally happy with their food, 2 weren't. Those with fish dishes were happy. I don't usually ever leave food. And I don't... More

We visited Hen Dogs on a cold January night - we loved that we didn't have to book & the menu had a great variety of dishes. Food was beautiful - no complaints at all!!! Service was good - although as busy, it was difficult for servers to remember who needs who. Messy fries - awesome Salsa & tortilla chips... More

Great evening in nice surroundings, 11 of us, we arrived 1 hour before our meal so we could enjoy a few cocktails, bit disappointing that no real suitable area to enjoy them, chat with my guests and mingle. We where we'll looked after by the staff, who where a bit pushed, had to remind the waiter to bring my wine... More

This is not our first visit but it is by far the worst. Yes it is winter and yes it was a cold night but I do not expect to have to wrap my coat around my legs to keep me warm whilst out for a meal. There were eight in our party some had starters which came quite quickly... More

The staff here are very nice and friendly, the food is good and the place itself is spotlessly clean and airy, and in a buzzing part of Belfast. Short stroll to many pubs for aftrerwards.

Went as a family for a graduation party. Great atmosphere and sound staff. I would consider myself a steak man and this was hands down the best in Belfast. Top marks.

Late afternoon, before the evening "rush" this restaurant has a two course special menu at a reasonable price. And there are many tasty choices. No real ale for me as a fan, but the Erdinger Weissbier went down well.

Had dinner here with a large party of friends at Xmas time. The food was lovely, especially at a time of the year when standards can easily slip. It was very busy with several large groups dining but the staff were attentive and professional. Must return to sample more of the menu soon.

Had a family meal here on a rainy midweek January evening. Restaurant was empty bar one other table, it was only 5.30pm and horrible weather outside. Food was delicious. ordered the roast chicken and barley risotto, venison and two ribeye steaks. Absolutely no complaints. We followed this with the chocolate and chestnut ganache and the bread and butter pudding. Banoffe... More
