Great Night Out

Started the evening with a lovely cocktail. The food was excellent. Encountered a wonderful member of staff (Peter Moore) who proved extremely knowledgeable of unusual gins. We finished the evening with several new gin experiences while we enjoyed the jazz.

Our family dined here recently. We had the brunch and it was excellent. We went for virgin cocktails instead of the alcohol as an alternative and they were very good. Not bad for £15! Service was excellent.

I visited here last weekend with another couple , we arrived on time and were shown to our table promptly, a drinks order was taken and this took and age to arrive, the staff although courteous needed to be chased after to place an order, to be charged to listen to Jazz whist eating I feel is a rip off,... Met up with friends at Bert's after a hectic day at the Kingspan Stadium watching Ulster very lucky to draw in their final home match against Munster in the Pro 12 League. Heard lots of good things about this bar/restaurant and was anticipating, good food, good craic and a relaxing atmosphere....I wasn't disappointed. Our waiter for the night was Adam.... More

What a fabulous evening. I attended with my husband, daughter and 4 friends. There was a large party of Americans in and due to this we were treated to a complimentary glass of prosecco and a mocktail for the child! What a lovely touch! The food was excellent (Camembert to start was divine), and the service second to none. Special... More

Lovely concept, jazz and brunch on a Sunday but unfortunately berts doesn't quite execute - service slow and staff not especially attentive despite being in a party of 8. I would have expected to receive a little more attention from staff but we had to ask to order drinks and then ask to order food. There was a considerable wait... More

We popped in here before a meal elsewhere. We were there about 4.30 so it was quiet. We had 4 cocktails all perfectly made and presented. there was complimentary water and it was topped up during our leisurely stay. We chose some olives and bread and nuts to complete the cocktail experience. The barman was fit to make me a... More

5 ladies (including myself) booked the table at Berts for dinner after the Spa and some cocktails at The Merchant for a friend's 30th. After being placed at our table...almost in the dark, we started to mull over the menu...nothing seemed to take our fancy...then we saw it.... 10% service charge on top of £10 per head to be seated... I'm not usually quite so critical. When visiting Belfast recently I took my family for a meal to Berts Whether or not it was just an off night I have to say from entering The Maitre'd Just could even bother to be civil Let alone greet us. The starters mussels were good But thereafter things deteriorated. I order Ribeye Got... More

we visited on Mother's Day and the restaurant had a set menu that day. I had my heart set on something from the Al carte and the chef offered to cook this for me which was extremely accommodating. However when looking at the set menu I saw the pork dish and this really took my fancy. Boy was I glad... More
