We stopped in for a drink at the bar and stayed much longer than we intended. Jack and Connor are masters at making perfect cocktails and exceptionally knowledge about the various whiskeys and other beverages they stock. They were a joy to watch and chat with. Great spot!

This jazz club has a very romantic setting, delectable food, great drinks and live music. It is housed in the sumptuous red velvet Merchant Hotel. We made a booking (a must at the weekends) and on arrival were promptly ushered to our seats in a semi circle red leather booth. Our coats were taken and hung up, nice touch. We perused... More

This is also a must for anyone going to Belfast. One of the most popular restaurants and bars in Belfast. Really lovely jazz music in a very cozy atmosphere, please note when you are booking a table ask for a table not too close to the stage as it is very loud if you sit too close. They have a... More

My wife and I went to Bert's Bar last Sunday as a treat for our Wedding Anniversay. What a great experience :) We had Sunday Brunch and it was fantastic. I had a Bloody Mary with an Omlette Arnold Bennett - beatifully presented and delicious. My wife had a Bucks Fizz and Oeuf Meurette - again beautifully presented and gorgeous.... More

Staff were both well mannered and helpful. The drinks were reasonably priced and last and by no means least the jazz was pretty good. Worth a second visit real soon.

This restaurant is connected to the Merchant Hotel. We have stayed in the hotel a couple of times but were very disappointed with our evening meal in the main restaurant. We recently got a Merchant gift voucher so rather going back and be disappointed again we thought we would give Berts a try. The restaurant had the opulence of the... More

Went here with group of friends, really nice place, jazz band was good and generally friendly and good atmosphere. Only thing I found odd is they Don't sell beer in pints you have to order half glass which of course a few mouthfuls and it's gone, so had two at a time. Will return on my next visit to Belfast.
