Trendy, friendly cafe

We had the lunch deal here of a soup and a sandwich. It was delicious and great value so we treated oursleves to a glass of wine too. The staff were friendly and helpful and the decor was amazing.

Visited Harlem Cafe yesterday for breakfast.... bad idea! Firstly we were told there were no tables, despite the fact I could see 2. We quickly ordered drinks and food from the menu, then proceeded to wait and wait and wait! 45 minutes....for pancakes and a bagel!!! To say that the wait time was long was an understatement, we drank through... More

My husband and I go to Harlem cafe quite often as it is right next door to the Ulster Hall where we go to hear the Ulster Orchestra. We always enjoy our visits as the staff are friendly and helpful and we love the quirky decor . It's a great place for people watching and sometimes you might see somebody... More

Waited for at least 40 minutes before our food came. I had asked for a bacon sandwich with brown bread- I got a sausage sandwich on white bread with no butter!!!Ate it anyway and said nothing as we had wasted enough time and we were starving, we had got a pot of tea earlier and by the time the breakfast... Very trendy cafe , loads of stars on the walls. Been here a few times by invitation but it would not be my choice. Young staff do not scan the customers who have been served. Last visit and it was the last, we were served coffee long before the toast arrived. Coffee cold but could not get attention of anyone... More

Have been to this restaurant on previous occasions and thought the food was quite average but today it had been booked by a friend for four of us to meet for lunch. We were all out on our lunch break and needed to be back in the office by 2pm. Having booked the table for 12.15, we ordered and began... More

Recently visited Belfast, and discovered Harlem whilst doing some research for restaurants which could cater for gluten free. Arrived in Belfast at 10am, so went over to Harlems for some brekkie. A very busy place, however the service was still good. We did have a bit of a bum table as we were right by the bar and the kitchen... More

We found this café after asking our hotel concierge for the nearest café for breakfast, and he recommended Harlem’s for a bit more up market café, and he wasn’t wrong. The place was buzzing, and waited 10mins to be seated and shown to one of their big round tables at the far end. Service was speedy, and we ordered all... More

Food was very well cooked most but actual cafe is so different inside, from odd chairs to overcrowded paintings on the wall this large cafe set the atmosphere high and loved being there, we arrived at 10ish on a saturday morning and we managed to get a table for 10 ok but it got very busy by the time we...
