Still Standing !!!

Arrived for lunch around 1:30pm, but unfortunately hadn't pre booked a table. We stood behind another party awaiting a table. We must have stood for 15 minutes without one member of staff acknowledging we or the other family were even there, or indeed if we had a table booked, or how many people we... read more

Had breakfast hear on Saturday morning before a long day sightseeing . The décor and atmosphere is electric. Had to wait approx 10 minutes for a table as we had not ordered one. I ordered the porridge and my friends had the full Belfast fry up,both were really good. The prices are slightly more expensive than other cafe's in this... More

We found this place by chance on a Saturday night. They allowed children and the food was delicious. A guy played his guitar which was perfect entertainment while enjoying our meal. We also booked for breakfast the next day ending our holiday on a high. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and popped in for breakfast - we didn't go anywhere else for breakfast after visiting. The food was fresh, great portion sizes, everything cooked perfectly. The cafe is very smart and quirky and although a tight squeeze to get into certain tables once seated it's very comfortable. The staff are attentive but not... More

I've worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for 20 years, and for that reason alone I'm reluctant to leave a bad review. It's generally not fair to do so and most places will make a situation right if they can. I dropped in for a coffee during a quiet afternoon, and ordered a piece of carrot cake to have... More

Called midweek for breakfast. Whilst it was busy, service was good and the ambience interesting and relaxing. The breakfast menu however, was a disappointment....nothing special.....and neither was the food when set in front of us. Good atmosphere, pleasant surroundings, but I'll go elsewhere for breakfast next time.

Our group of four arrived for breakfast and were promptly brought to a table and given menus. Within a couple of minutes we all decided to order the all-day breakfast with two large pots of tea. However, for the next twenty minutes we were completely blanked by every member of staff despite my attempts to get someone to take our... More

The waitress recommended that we try the chowder and it didn't disappoint. It was fab ! There are some items on the menu that are a bit pricey but on this occasion the chowder was worth it.

I have been to this café three times, each time to meet friends who chose it as it is close to where they work. Each time I have been underwhelmed by the food. I'm not sure why it is always busy, and can be tricky to get a table immediately unless you book ahead for lunch. I haven't liked it... More

Waited ages for breakfast so coffee was cold waiting. No top up offered so had to buy another coffee. Bacon and sausage sandwich bread was extremely hard. Sausage was tiny and over cooked. Absolutely awful
