Buzzing ;-)

My friend & I called in while passing on a Saturday night & were lucky enough to get a table. The place looks pretty unremarkable from the outside but it's lovely inside ! The quirky décor , fairy lights & live music ( 2 guys singing & playing guitars) made for a great atmosphere in the place... read more

No cookie cutter atmosphere here at Harlem, took a chance for breakfast and went back for dinner. Crowded yes, great vibe, dude on guitar, not overwhelming volume so you have a conversation. Not used to live candles, it in Belfast it works. Would love to have been able go return for lunch.

Stopped in at Harlem Cafe for some lunch with colleagues. The food was delicious and presented to a high standard. Left feeling very full - definitely great value.

Stopped into the Harlem Cafe during my resent visit to Belfast. The TripAdvisor sticker in the window convinced me to give it a try. I Ordered steak burger and water. THe staff was attentive and bright and genuinely concerned about the quality of the food and service. The bill came to 11.oo . A very nice place ! .

Went to Harlem for dinner before going into a gig next door in the Ulster hall. Arrived and ordered our drinks, wine and foxtail. Their strawberry daquari was lovely! Ordered the seafood platter (for 1) to share and each the prawn tagliatelle main. The starter was ok - served with prawns, mussels, baby scallops, smoked salmon and bread - the... More

This place tries to serve on the edge of 'trendy' but still manages a decent meal (breakfast ) whilst keeping prices at a reasonable level. Somewhat noisy as groups seemed to be meeting on the way to work etc. Wholesome food, quick service with a real smile and lovely atmosphere. Prob not great for a young family IMHO.
