We went here for lunch. On entering I was immediately hit with a great buzz of an atmosphere .... The decor is quirky... Comfortable... We were shown to our table by a friendly member of staff and handed quite an extensive menue.... We choose a club sandwich... It came beautifully presented and... read more

My wife and I met up with another couple who had booked this for Saturday night. We had looked at menus online and indeed looked very mouth watering. The menus we were handed bore no resemblance to the menus on line (not something to die in a ditch about to be fair). For starters I ordered the black & white... More

We had a brunch here. I had the filled soda which was fine although I was disappointed with the sausages which were very much like a well known local branded pork sausage. But the food was tasty. They brought me a large pot of tea which was lovely. Every table seemed to get a different teapot, very quaint. Staff were... More

Having checked into our hotel and then surveying the hotel's restaurant, we asked the receptionist if she could suggest somewhere for lunch. She promplty suggested Harlem Cafe which was less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. When we arrived, it was busy but we did not have to wait long for a table. i had the chicken wrap,... More

I was giving my daughter a tour of my old Belfast haunts and while looking at Ulster hall we spotted Harlem just next door. It was a Friday lunchtime around 1pm and it was pretty busy but we got a table pretty quickly. They had a great selection on the menu and also some specials. My daughter had the quiche... More

Popped in here when passing for a late breakfast on a trip to Belfast recently - nice cosy restaurant, friendly staff and lovely food. I had poached eggs and toast (poached to perfection) and my partner had porridge with fresh fruit - would definitely go back !

This was our first time in Harlem, but it won't be our last. The food was excellent, as was the wine. The entertained was great and not at all intrusive, conversation was possible through out the evening making the evening all the more enjoyable. The staff were great and vey friendly and helpful. A really great night!
