Will return!!!

My friend had heard good things about Teatro so we decided to give it a go and we were so glad we did. We didn't not have a reservation but we were luckily able to get a seat. The food menu is limited which I always think that is a good thing as then there is no hiding and everything... read more

This is one of my most favourite restaurants in Belfast. It is small, has delicious food, very friendly staff and cool vintage style interior. We were a party of four and we had boeuf bourgignon, 'midnight ' pasta dish and the lamb kofta. All were delicious, tender and beautifully presented. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was so tasty. All together... More

First visit here & I've got to say the food & service were wonderful. Unfortunately the whole night was totally ruined by the loud music. The live musicians were certainly talented, but their volume completely destroyed our evening. Impossible to have a conversation with the person next to you. Went away in a very unhappy frame of mind determined never... More

This is one of our favourite restaurants to go for a romantic dinner. The atmosphere is lovely and cosy, with small tables, candles, beautiful decor and live music. Food = plenty of variety of "nibbles" like olives, bread and mezze / tapas. Mains include fish, pasta, vegetarian mezze and steak. Desserts are to die for! Music = varies, but typically... More

This is a small spot on the lower part of Botanic Avenue, which is a pretty nice part of Belfast. The restaurant aims at bistro chic. Sort of Left bank meets the village. It's an intimate atmosphere, read tight squeeze. The menu is a bit of a mixture with a hint at some classic tapas dishes and some vegetarian and... More

Visited Teatro for a romantic night out for our anniversary. We went on a Wednesday night, wasn't very busy but still perfect atmosphere with live music. The guitarist was excellent, not too obtrusive, perfect background music and enjoyable without drowning out the conversation, providing a lovely homely atmosphere. I cannot praise the service in this restaurant enough; nothing was too... More

This is a quirky restaurant - not very big but very friendly and nice food . The really versatile piano/ singer ranging from blues to everything really, created a great atmosphere and all in all we all had a truly memorable evening.

Have been several times, and again the food was excellent, staff genuinely lovely, ambiance perfect. This is a place where you book your table, can stay all night, listen to some terrific life music which doesn't over power you, have a delicious meal, with decent wines and fab cocktails. One of the consistently best spots in Belfast for a great... More

Small portions/medium plates, steak with potatoes only and no vegetables (side orders not on menu) so even after having starter still hungry enough to have dessert. Desserts weren't anything to shout about. Bill included 10% Service Charge, when queried were asked if we didn't like the service. That's not the point! Don't go if you're hungry, otherwise take a packed-lunch.... More

I must be missing something with this place. It has a nice ambience as you walk in with a bohemian type atmosphere, however we got a table directly in front of the musicians so could barely hear each other (its a very small restaurant). The food was just okay and overpriced in my opinion (desserts especially) as was the wine.... More
