Mediterranean and bohemian all in one

This is such a quirky little restaurant. Described as bohemian and I must say it is that. Great Mediterranean food. I got the kofta meshweya, although not sure by the name it was a delightful dish when It arrived. I have always wanted to visit this restaurant but have always been waiting for a time... read more

My family and I ate here recently and I wasn't overly impressed at all. The food was just ok - some of the tapas were definitely overpriced, and the mains were really quite average at best. Portions were quite small, and some of the desserts were really tiny too. The tables didn't fit together well and the seats / benches... More

The 4 of us called here on Sunday 29th March 2015. Started off with a glass of prosecco. It was a meal deal with cabaret. Fisrt singer was Jamie Johnston. A tribute act to Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin. Very entertaining. Then our food, which was good. Then the main act - Cherry on Top. Very active. Transvestite dressed as a woman,... More

We visited Belfast for a weekend and I had read about this restaurant before we went so booked ahead for dinner on Friday night. We had a great time - the music and food were just exquisite, and the waiting staff were relaxed and very friendly. Please - if you are visiting Belfast even for a short break - book... More

Took my friend here for a birthday treat as she wanted to try it. We went on a Thursday evening and the menu was tapas. Quite a quiet night but we enjoyed that. It's a cosy resturant with live music which was fab. Meal was lovely. Our server was also lovely and very friendly. They serve a different menu on... More

Live music is always nice with a meal but it stopped at about 9pm with no sign of restarting when we left at ten. Tables were so close together that I (yes, me, not the staff) had to move the furniture to get into my seat. Food was nice although chicken skewers were a bit burnt. Staff had no idea... More

Charmed once again as we stepped over the threshold on Botanic Avenue and into the sizzling Bohemia that is Teatro. We've been before but this time it was to celebrate my mother's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The manageress explained the cocktails to us and each lived up to its exotic description. The menu has been carefully streamlined since our... More

Up from Dublin for short break and strolling around the beautiful University district. Came across this intriguing restaurant. It all worked the Mediterranean decor and food. Great blues piano player and friendly staff. A great mix that made for a memorable night.
