Charmed once again as we stepped over the threshold on Botanic Avenue and into the sizzling Bohemia that is Teatro. We've been before but this time it was to celebrate my mother's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The manageress explained the cocktails to us and each lived up to its exotic description. The menu has been carefully streamlined since our... More

Up from Dublin for short break and strolling around the beautiful University district. Came across this intriguing restaurant. It all worked the Mediterranean decor and food. Great blues piano player and friendly staff. A great mix that made for a memorable night.

Great vibe and music, lovely staff but both our meat dishes spoiled by overcookingto many black edges and dry even tho made to order. Home cut chips soggy as were potato cubes.Greek salad tiny and no feta. Disappointing.

We booked Teatro for our mum's 50th birthday and the owners Fleur and Kyron made the booking easy and provided a fantastic atmosphere and service on the night. Mum was delighted. We were able to pre-order the meal; as we were a large party this made the evening flow very smoothly. Also, two of the guests were vegan and one... More

I called the place to book table for my Mam's birthday, was advised that they have special menu with prices around 25£ pp for 2 course. When we arrived the manu given had no prices, we waited 30min for glass of water each time cos staff was too busy wondering around without a purpose. The owner/ manager stuck her big... More

We arrived at seven for dinner and were greeted by a pleasant member of staff. They were servving the 'christmas menu' as they couldnt be bothered changing it! The live musicians did not start til approx. 8.30pm but from what we saw they were good and enjoyable. The food is of reasonable quality and overpriced for what it is. Would... More

If you're a fan of explosive diarrhoea Teatro is the place to go. Without a doubt, you'll spend longer in the toilet than you did in the restaurant.

Me and my partner love this place. great food, wine music and decor. We tend to get the early bird special of 2 courses for £12.50. Great value! The food is delicious, it's a lovely intimate place and there are great live musicians.

Secondly, resturant was cold and had foul smelling incense burning.Thirdly food was cold, minute portions and not worth the money. Overall... More

Went here with my wife last Thursday. Had walked past many times before and never considered it. The meal deal (12.50 for two courses from 5-7) is good value, although I think the menu looked a bit pricey otherwise. The food is Mediterranean/Middle Eastern (we had Cypriot, Tunisian and Iranian dishes), which stands out a bit in Belfast. Our starters... More
