The reason for our visit was to hear one of my favourite blues guitarists who, it turned out, was indisposed. However we were treated to some seriously cool jazz from a trio including Kyron (one of the owners); we could have been in Montmartre. The staff are friendly and efficient, but don't 'hover', a definite plus. As others have noted... More

Food tasty enough but bit overpriced for what you get especially the starters. Great atmosphere and staff friendly. Bit of advise they add service charge to your bill even for two people.

Teatro is Belfast's late night gem. It's tiny and usually packed. Decent, if unexciting food - but you don't come here for the food necessarily. You come for the atmosphere and the music. Spend the evening here - the live music varies but is unvaryingly good - or drop in for a snack and drink after an evening at the... More

Very quaint place, good food ~ not fine dining but honest and well done/presented. The cocktails are fun and the live music creates a great atmosphere. Very small and not much room but that doesn't seem to be a problem once you are at your table. Service is good and whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable.

Arrived late on a Thursday evening and popped into this restaurant. Weren't feeling too hungry and as they were hosting a Portuguese themed evening asked if we could just have a light meal. From start to finish nothing was a problem. We were seated and made feel right at home. We had our pick of the menu which was impressive... More

We were visiting our Northern friends & have eaten in countless restaurants over the past 25 years in Belfast however this cosy place was by a distance the best. It had everything quirky intimate decor, a small but very diverse menu with excellent vegetarian choices for one of our party & fantastic live music. The owner played piano & along... More

We spent a very engaging evening this past Thursday night at a little gem of a place called Teatro, on Botanic Ave. In Belfast. We stumbled upon Greek Night, in this marvelous little salon. There was a group of Greek Musicians who specialized in ethnic music delivered flawlessly. The food was spectacular. The apps which included stuffed squid (cooked to... More
