Excellent food, good choice on menu, very pleasant staff, friendly efficient and welcoming. Surroundings very nice and you can browse in the shop after and perhaps make a purchase.

The cafe was busy as usual so we decided to try the quieter restaurant. When we asked what the soup was, the waitress had no idea and used an intelligible word that she didn't know the meaning of. When questioned she went to check and told us something different (turned out to be Tuscan bean soup). Food fine. After finishing... More

Came across this place by accident, but very glad to do so. Superbly healthy salads and a great array of naughty treats. The only down side was that the tables were not being cleared quickly enough, so almost gave the impression of a messy cafe. Food great. Need more staff. I will definitely try it again.

I just popped in for a quick lunch and queued at the Cafe counter. The service was brisk with some very busy but helpful people behind the counter. The selection of food and cakes on offer looked fantastic, having the milk jugs and sugar cube bowls for coffee and teas on the long shared tables is quite a nice touch.

Love this place, quite pricey but as a treat it's worth it. Food gorgeous as always plus you get the chance to browse the store which is filled with lovely goodies

Service excellent. Food very well presented. Atmosphere great. I attend an appointment in the Belfast area every Friday and pop into Avoca for lunch. Best place in Belfast in my opinion.

Great place to have lunch. Slightly limited menu but when the food arrives it never disappoints. Love the food area, but agree with those who complain that it's a little over-priced.

If you're in need of a tasty bite when in Belfast and don't want it to be too formal then this could be the place for you. It's very good food, an interesting and varied menu, very good service and it's not too expensive. BIG TICK for no piped music! Recommended!

I've visited this restaurant before fir brunch but usually make do with the cafe at lunch however we decided that here would be perfect for a late lunch as the cafe was really full. We were seated promptly and given a jug of water with mint and cucumber very refreshing. I had the crab salad and my fellow diner the... More

Just had lunch at Avoca. Quality was excellent and I would say possibly the only complaint would be that if we had got one meal between two it would have been enough for two at lunchtime. Stll I know one wee Snoodle that will be very glad.
