Lovely find in the heart of the City!

Centrally located, shop, cafe and restaurant serving irish gifts and food. Dined in the restaurant. Steady lunch time trade, crab salad with wheaten bread, with a lemon posset dessert slipped down nicely. My colleague settled fr the burger with a side of chunky chips, salsa and side salad... read more

My friend and myself when to Avoca today (08/02/16) for lunch and wanted to try somewhere different (brother had recommended going here). Went to the cafe part and waited to be seated which was quick quick although the waitresses shouted down from the bottom of the stairs to come on down in an impolite manner. Got seated down and as... Quick, efficient service and delicious food! you can always find something to statisfy your hunger in Avoca. On our most recent visit we decided to get a range of small snacks to share-we definitely recommend the chickpea rolls (despite the unappealing nature). we were with a veggie friend and he had no trouble finding something to suit. Will definitely return!

Avoca is a shop, cafe, takeout, bakery, deli and restaurant, just outside the lovely Victoria shopping arcade. We had breakfast and lunch here! The food was amazing, healthy and plentiful. We ate breakfast in the restaurant, then had lunch the following day in the cafe/takeout. I highly recommend breakfast before a shopping expedition! I had the porridge, followed by the... More

We visited here recently and were impressed by the selection and service even close to closing time!! The staff did not seem to rush us or make us feel under pressure!! I would highly recommend their Fruit Sckne and also the Choclate cookie!! Great place, great food!!

Have eaten in avoca a couple of times with my wife when in town! We particularly enjoy the broccoli salad which always tastes amazing! It can be very very busy and it is best avoided around 1 o'clock as the queues can be massive! Very tasty and definitely worth a visit for lunch if you are in town.

When completing Christmas shopping in the centre of Belfast we were recommended Avoca by a lovely staff member of Bank of Ireland: sincere thanks! In the mayhem of shopping Avoca was just tremendous - a brief oasis where the food was tasty and well presented and their coffee just hit the spot ... just what was needed! The surroundings are... Visited for lunch at the cafe. No signs displayed about food allergy. Not even the "cop out" one you see in places that says, "please ask our staff for advice if you have a food allergy". The serving staff had no idea or were uncertain when we asked about whether particular items might be dairy free or gluten free. Food... More

Always a pleasure to dine in the Avoca cafe. Great food and service with a smile. Ideal for breakfast, lunch, light bite or that special occasion of afternoon tea. We have sampled them all and enjoyed them all!
