Great place to have lunch. Slightly limited menu but when the food arrives it never disappoints. Love the food area, but agree with those who complain that it's a little over-priced.

If you're in need of a tasty bite when in Belfast and don't want it to be too formal then this could be the place for you. It's very good food, an interesting and varied menu, very good service and it's not too expensive. BIG TICK for no piped music! Recommended!

I've visited this restaurant before fir brunch but usually make do with the cafe at lunch however we decided that here would be perfect for a late lunch as the cafe was really full. We were seated promptly and given a jug of water with mint and cucumber very refreshing. I had the crab salad and my fellow diner the... More

Just had lunch at Avoca. Quality was excellent and I would say possibly the only complaint would be that if we had got one meal between two it would have been enough for two at lunchtime. Stll I know one wee Snoodle that will be very glad.

We stopped to "refuel" after shopping! The variety of food available was good, & almost too difficult to choose! We settled on coffee & scones, which were to die for, we were certainly not disappointed.

We normally get an early ferry into Belfast and this is our reward for the early rise and trip. The breakfast is one of the best on this side of the Atlantic. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. The breads are really delicious too. We haven't had any other meal here but have been in other... More

The choice of lovely homemade, very appetizing food was fantastic, spoilt for choice. Staff were so helpful in explaining what each dish contained, lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced.

You can tell straight away by the packed cafe and the look of the food that this is a quality establishment. The staff are quite slow but it is a very busy environment. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Nice decor & comfy chairs in the upstairs restaurant. I will be back for some more terrine!!

We decided on a whim to have lunch in Avoca, previously I have normally been o a Saturday so was expecting a queue but there was none and the restaurant was almost empty. As normal a jug of cucumber and mint infused water appeared immediately which is so simple but makes a big difference. We had the fresh pasta of... More

I try to eat here as regularly as I can. I enjoy both sections. The restaurant is very child friendly with lovely waiting staff. The food options are plentiful and delicious. The food is always so fresh and well presented. This is also the case for the more casual section where it is self-service. I have never been disappointed with... More
