Last time we visited here was on a Saturday and we were a little worried that they might be too busy as they don't take bookings on Saturday's but we got there in time . The food was excellent and the service was first class. The only downside was the tables are quite close together so we could hear the... More

This is a hugely popular shop in Belfast City Centre pedestrian area. The downstairs shop area sells a variety of modern country cottage items, condiments, jars and storage. All very nice. Upstairs is a coffee shop / restaurant. Good quality deli foods with lots of interesting side salad mixes. Cakes and traybakes etc. Whilst I find it expensive the quality... More

The restaurant is the best place in belfast for breakfast, the pancakes and bacon were excellent as were the scrambled Eggs,as for the shop itself i dont really like the jumble style look of the ground floor, its very overpriced, though the food section is really good

Had a lovely time here with my friend. Starter was bread and oil etc which we enjoyed despite the dry bread ( a few olives or something else in it would have helped). Mains of Boeuf Bourguignon and Calamari were tasty. Dessert menus were give but unfortunately after at least 15 minutes no one came back to take our orders... More

The food here is so fantastically tasty I wish I could go more often! The confit of duck is delicious and served on a seriously tasty salad. My daughter had the ravioli which she said was superb. Her chocolate dessert was also delicious. I love their breakfasts too. They are class. The service is fantastic and the place is always... More

Avoca's food is always beautifully presented and tastes superb. Very busy on Saturdays, be prepared to queue. It's great for vegetarians as there is a wide choice of enticing salads and breads. Their scones are Devine, great taste of irish food!

Lunch with a friend found me in the seated more formal section of the restaurant.I was paying and my "friend" gently guided me in that direction! Immediately impressed with the lunch menu which was full of delicious sounding salads. The mains too were well judged and appealing for the middle of the day. I opted for falafal, pitta and dips and... More

The Avoca shop is full of all the usual Avoca type things and the upstairs restaurant has a good selection of choices though I'm not that keen on the type of seats which I find a bit uncomfortable and it can feel a bit claustrophobic. It feels to me more of a place that women would like, due to the... More
