We decided on a whim to have lunch in Avoca, previously I have normally been o a Saturday so was expecting a queue but there was none and the restaurant was almost empty. As normal a jug of cucumber and mint infused water appeared immediately which is so simple but makes a big difference. We had the fresh pasta of... More

I try to eat here as regularly as I can. I enjoy both sections. The restaurant is very child friendly with lovely waiting staff. The food options are plentiful and delicious. The food is always so fresh and well presented. This is also the case for the more casual section where it is self-service. I have never been disappointed with... More

A great place for breakfast ,a snack and lunch. The coffee is one of the best in the city centre. The associated shop has a great range of giftware good place to spend 10 to 20 minutes.

Desserts, paninis, chicken curry, you name it - everything is delicious. There is so much temptation. I love it here.

a really lovely place for coffee, cakes and desserts. Changed seating means comfy sofas and a place to chill and read the paper. The pavlova and chocolate cake are heavenly! If in Belfast you must go and browse the shop then rest with a coffee here upstairs.

If you simply want a freshly baked scone with delicious strawberry jam and cream, accompanied by good coffee, served with a smile in a spacious and tasteful setting..then make your way down the steps into the restaurant part of Avoca....nowhere else in Belfast city centre can beat it.

Avoca was one of my favourite eateries in Belfast but on my last visit a few weeks ago, I was surprised to find what appeared to be a complete change in staff [now all with a couldn't care less attitude], how the water was served, and also a distinct fall in customers - always so busy previously and with very... Avoca is my top eating spot when shopping in Belfast. Anything you order in there will be delicious. Only problem would be slightly overpriced for what you actually get. As avoca is so busy all the time surely they should be able to reduce prices slightly. Pasta of the day always beautiful and chips! Yum. Oh and hard to beat... More

Service was a bit patchy to start but they really excelled when I mentioned my allergies and the waitress checked everything on the menu ( without me asking them to) Food was nice, not a great atmosphere but it was a Sunday afternoon
