Balcony overlooking the market

Loved enjoying a super breakfast overlooking the market and just people-watching. The breakfast was a bit unusual and a little overpriced but worth it as a one-off. Very tasty and highly recommended.

You must come here to get a full breakfast in Belfast. It was set out beautifully on the plate and set you up for the day. Really tasty and traditional. A must eat!

Food & ambience is excellent and extremely good value (the tea tasted like proper tea & we had a rather large pot each, whilst those of our party who had scrambled eggs must have had at least half a dozen on their plates!) - and the service! well, all I can say is that they go way above & beyond............. I have been in George's on numerous occasions and recommend the brunch on Saturday or Sundays when the market downstairs is in full swing. The food is excellent and the staff professional.

I love St George's market and the fun and vibe when visiting it. I recommend it constantly to friends and visitors coming to Belfast. Although I go to it on a regular basis I normally just buy food from the stalls and eat downstairs, however before Christmas I decided to go with friends for breakfast in the restaurant upstairs. We... More

Great vantage point from the balcony, with a view over the entire market, and a chance to see just how many visitors there are. We sampled the brunch menu, having a late breakfast about noon. Good variety of food, nicely presented, served by pleasant local staff. Good value - we'll be back.

We had one full day in Belfast and planned our day around coming here for 10am for breakfast. Despite the website saying this place opens at 10 we made it there only to be told they weren't serving until 11. "The best breakfast in Belfast" but not until 11? Total joke. We lost valuable time then having to find somewhere... More

I've never been before, but will defiantly be back. The food was excellent, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Got the pre theatre meal which was great value. Close to the Waterfront Hall and in the market which is a favourite place to visit when in Belfast. Totally recommend this place.

Thought breakfast would be lovely but was really disappointed. Egg was cold and the rest was lukewarm. The replacement was warmer, but the tomato tasted of fish, the potato farl was lukewarm and the vegetable roll was frazzled. The only good thing was the coffee. Then to pay over £10, when a nicer meal could be found at a 'greasy... More
