I ate at some very fine Irish restaurants in Dublin, including the Michelin-starred Chapter One, but none were nearly as fine as this restaurant. Truly a gem, check it out if you are in Belfast. The service was very friendly and everything on the menu was delicious, but in particular do not miss out on the pear and blue cheese... More

As always, being slightly food obsessed, I checked the menu ahead of time. Showcasing the quality of Irish produce with jazzed up classic cooking, the menu will likely leave you umming and ahhing. It certainly did me. Just when I thought I had my top choices, the tempting daily specials threw a spanner in the works. The food was excellent,... More

Best food in Belfast I'd never been to Molly's Yard until last weekend despite hearing so much about it from friends. The food was brilliant. The goat was frankly a revelation. Who knew goat was that good? Scallops were as big as a child's fist. The Hilden beer is great too. They only carry Hilden beer so not great for... More

Apart from the diamond waitress we got the place was a joke, tables far too close together, pack as many in as you can etc, seats were falling apart, had to change my seat twice, portions were ridiculous, £23 quid for a very miserable steak dinner, didn't get any sauce and the roast potatoes definitely did not have any hint... Food was generally lovely although portions were really quite small, especially the starters - bill worked out at just under £100 for 3 courses and drinks (for 2 people). A special occasion place - would have liked to have been offered the less expensive pre-theatre menu as we had booked for early evening (6 pm) for that reason. Worth a... More

We had a very lovely dinner here. It was a bit more expensive than other restaurants but the food is exceptional. The waitress was rushed off her feet but she still found the time to explain dishes. She was also very friendly.

It has a lovely atmosphere and some great selection of beers. I had risotto and the wife had the fish of the day. Everything was tasty however I only wish it had been busier to make a bit of atmosphere. Nothing to the staff though as they work hard.

This was a last minute arrangement to meet a friend for a quick bite to eat before attending a conference in Belfast. Sometimes the unplanned events surprise, and this little gem certainly did that. I had no expectations of greatness, I'd never been in before, but boy did it pack a punch. The menu is simple to navigate, but elegant... More

My sister, and I had a wonderful dinner at Molly's Yard. Our waitress, Colleen, was fantastic. She really made our evening special. I enjoyed several starters in lieu of a main dish. A bowl of soup, I can't recall the type now, scallops and risotto, and a goat cheese tart. They were all lovely, though the risotto was a bit... More
