Great food, great night!

We booked very last minute. Staff were extremely welcoming. Loved the decor & great atmosphere. We both had Scallops with black pudding to start which were very tasty & just enough to get the taste buds tingling. For mains we both chose the same dish again which was the goat on puy lentils with... read more

I attended one of the gin and food tasting evenings which I was really looking forward to but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. The staff were fantastic and really friendly, they could not have been better but the food porteins were tiny. Even after 5 courses I was still hungry and I'm not a massive eater.... More

I went here on saturday with my boyfriend for the first time. When we first saw the menu online we both imediately wanted to go. The place itself is so cute and quaint. There is a lovely little courtyard as you enter which would be perfect in the summer for lunch maybe. Inside, downstairs there is a bar and seating... More

A fantastic tribute and example of a quaint, good quality, hole in the wall restaurant with amazing service in a country which lack it at times. On a rainy Thursday afternoon after a long night of drinking like it was the prohibition, what my friend and I sought was a warm comfortable spot to lay our tired bones for a... More

We had been Mollys Yard previous (about 2 and half years ago), but we were intrigued about the new menu, so we went there with friends over from England. We wanted to try the Goat dish on the menu, and it didn't disappoint. The only downside was a seemingly slow service.

I ate at some very fine Irish restaurants in Dublin, including the Michelin-starred Chapter One, but none were nearly as fine as this restaurant. Truly a gem, check it out if you are in Belfast. The service was very friendly and everything on the menu was delicious, but in particular do not miss out on the pear and blue cheese... More

As always, being slightly food obsessed, I checked the menu ahead of time. Showcasing the quality of Irish produce with jazzed up classic cooking, the menu will likely leave you umming and ahhing. It certainly did me. Just when I thought I had my top choices, the tempting daily specials threw a spanner in the works. The food was excellent,... More
