Cosy Atmosphere, Great Food, Friendly Staff!

Rang late on a Thursday afternoon on the off chance to see we could book a meal for two later that evening. Am pleased to say we were accommodated without issue. Very disappointed here tonight. Service was very slow with well over 45 mins between courses. Mussels broth starter was bland and tasteless, not anywhere near as good as hoped, and the steak main was very fatty and totally not worth £23. I left thinking it'll be a long while before I even think about going back.

My first visit to Molly;s Yard on a cold Saturday evening was a mixed experience. First impressions were good as I and a group of friends and work colleagues were shown upstairs to our table in what was a cosy and comfortable setting. Food was good particularly the smoked chicken main course although I was very disappointed with the pork... More

A warm welcome despite us not having a booking, the staff were exceptional, the cocktails excellent, the wines reasonably priced and the food was very good. We were in a hurry due to impending departure from City Airport but this did not detract from a wonderful experience . I'll be back as soon as I can

Had an early dinner there with my 18 year old son. Recommended by our excellent hotel Duke's at Queens. Unique experience. We chose a starter and main each from 5-10-5 menu. All choices excellent with great attention to eltains. Attentive waiting but not intrusive. Great choice of exclusive Irish ales. Strongly recommend you try out if you want an affordable... More

For my first visit I should have perhaps brought my fiancee rather than my two mates. The food was of a very high standard, which also came from a very thrifty 5-10-5 menu. (£5 starter, £10 main and a £5 dessert). Beautifully intimate setting, excellent service makes it a must for couples new and old.

Other reviews have said it all. Good food in a lovely setting; and, reasonably priced. I would like to add that one of the things that made our evening so memorable was the excellent service and the friendliness of the staff. The two girls looking after us could not have been nicer. Don't think about it: just go. Highly recommended.

I went here on Wednesday night with my partner and had a lovely meal. I had not been here in a few years but it has not changed much. The setting and atmosphere was good. I had the Chowder to start, best Chowder I've had in a restaurant I would say. Then Goat herders pie for main which again was... More

We have come here a few times over the years, it was the first place we went for a meal and we always love going back. I love the décor, personally we like sitting downstairs more than upstairs. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and they have a separate vegetarian menu, as well as a good choice of local beers.... More
