We loved our evening in this restaurant. We ate in the downstairs' part and thoroughly enjoyed our meal (helped along by sampling many of the craft drinks and cocktails on offer and the pleasant staff). Normally there may be a small negative but we found it hard to think of one. Great night and food. 'Sack of Ale' a bargain... More

Small spaces, nice ambience, good food. Molly's Yard is tucked into the back of a terrace of houses near the University, not far from the city centre. It has a good range of locally brewed beers and a short, decent wine list. I had scallops - perfectly fresh, perfectly cooked. Friendly, efficient service. This is a restaurant that cares about... This is our second visit to Molly's Yard during trips to see friends in Belfast. We have always received a warm welcome and excellent service. The host this time was very attentive and made sure we had a fabulous evening. The quality of the food on offer was great and the choice of drinks to compliment the meals were excellent.... More

Visited solely on the basis of an entry in the Good Beer Guide, plus it was round the corner, this is a great little restaurant that also sells good very good beer. The beer in question, for us, was an experimental double IPA by Hilden's brewery at a stonking 7.8%, very tasty with a slight haze that produced a Belgium... More

This is a small restaurant with wonderful food. It's not cheap but worth it. Make you booking well before you make your trip to Belfast so that you are not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and also knowledgeable about the local food and drinks.

I saw this restaurant on a couple of restaurant review sites and as it was a short walk from our hotel we thought we would seek it out. I am so happy we did, as the ambience was relaxed. The food was amazing and the gin lovely

The problem with restaurant reviews is that there are so many aspects of a visit to criticise. I visited as part of a group of 6. It wasn't my first visit, so that tells you something about the place - I returned! I made the booking and was told at the time that we would have the table for two... More

Brilliant, food was amazing, staff fab, just a superb nite out. It may be pricey to some but at approx. 30 pounds a head i didnt think it was expensive.

This was a great find. I enjoyed it very much. I had the sea bass special which was delicious. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely.
