Consistently Good Food - Great Atmosphere - Brilliant Staff

As a regular here I am really impressed by the Jharna and all of it's staff. The best bit is the fact the food is consistently good. It is authentic Indian food and is home cooked flavours. It does not leave your hands bright orange or red if you touch it. The nan bread is the best nan bread... read more

We ate here for the 1st time as a family of 4 - went for the early bird menu - excellent staff, good service, food quality was excellent and fairly well priced especially the early bird options. Nice ambience in the restaurant. we are very fond of Indian food and this was a very good meal. Recommended.

Ordered a carry out King Prawn Phatia. Hope your not hungry. When it arrived only 3 (THREE) king prawns in meal. What a rip off.Was really looking forward to my meal. Spoke to the manager next day., he said that 3 prawns was correct. Prawns are not that expensive so how can you justify this. Will now be using this restaurant... More

Visited Jharna last night and had a delicious, authentic Indian meal. The restaurant is located on the Lisburn road not far from the city center. It can only be accessed by climbing a flight of stairs and there does not appear to be a lift for disabled access. The food was amazing and the service was attentive, but not pushy.... More

We had a lovely sunday lunch at this place. Our favourite consist of Korma and Tikka Masala to tease our sweet spots and could not complain. Probably only thing to let this place down are guys walking in with shorts and football tops. The biggest surprise was the bill as it turn out they had 2 for 1 early lunch... More

I used to be a regular at this beautiful restaurant. Having hit on a few poor experiences in a short space of time I stopped calling. Finding myself in Belfast for lunch with my family they suggested we try there. I didn't take much persuading. At 1:15 there was a decent amount of diners - a good sign. We were... More

Possibly the best on the Lisburn are, although I know that's a contentious issue and a bold claim! Everyone has their favourite Indian restaurant in Belfast (a city I like to think of as a Curry Few Sqaure Mile), and while this isn't mine, it's definitely in my top three. Very generous portions, beautifully presented and served by attentive staff.... More

Had a decent meal here before the Northern Ireland v Romania match. I must have been one of the men wearing a football top - we can be pretty civilised! The menu looked good so I ordered something I hadn't seen before. Turned out to be indistinguishable from chicken korma. Also could have been hotter (temperature, not spice) but, to... More

Nice atmosphere (allowing for the fact that the place was full of men in football tops). Food very nice. Service ok but could be improved. Recommended.

First there was the long wait for pur RESERVED table, then there was the even longer wait 50 minutes for our food. During this time the tables around us with guests who arrived after us were all served while we waited. We were given 2 plates of poppadum between 10 and 2 bottles ofwater, which would have been fine if... More
