Friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend this restaurant as food is of a very high standard. Introduced it to friends who live in Newtownards and they travel up to Belfast frequently now as they enjoy it so much. Manager engages with customers to give a welcoming feeling to visits and insures everything is to their taste.

This restaurant is one of the most delicious Indian restaurants in Belfast. The food is delicious, portions are just right, the service is fantastic, and overall this restaurant is excellent. For this reason, I visit this restaurant regularly with my friends and I would recommend it to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed Indian meal yesterday. The service was very personable, the food was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The restaurant also gave us a free after dinner drink which we all enjoyed. The menu also offers UK food in case there is someone in your group who would prefer that. Would recommend if you are looking for good... More

I have been here quite a few times and it is by far the best curry house in NI, It is expensive but you get the best tasting Indian food in NI for it. The staff are always attentive the atmosphere is always good, Plus you get a free drink when you have finished your meal. All in all 5... More

Have been here a few times never dissapointed! Poppadums and dips are a delicious start, recommend the chicken patia for those who dont mind a bit of spice! Peratha bread is amazing. Usually a bit empty which can make the experience not as good, but doesnt make you uncomfortable, service is nothing to complain of.

Had the Sunday special two courses, seems good value, but add a beer, naan and side and it's plenty expensive. The starter chicken was clearly reheated, appeared in about a minute. The biriani was just awful. If you do Rick Steins receipe, he says that the grains of rice should be dry and separate. This was sloppy, dripping in butter.... More

We were recently in the Jharna as part of a large crowd for a birthday celebration. Overall, compared to other Indian restaurants in Belfast, the prices are high and the portions small. I'm particularly fond of Bhuna which should have a rich, thick sauce. What was served to me, however, was totally bland and the lamb was also tough. I... More

We used to go here regularly however after our experience on Saturday night, we will not be back. Husband had booked a table for 8.00 pm on Saturday night. Whilst we were able to order a drink quite quickly, we had eventually to call a waiter to order our food and request poppadoms and dips after a lengthy wait. I... More

The food here was excellent, as always a good vegetarian selection. The staff were friendly and able to advise on meal choice. It was very busy when we were there and so it was slow enough but what is to be expected on a Saturday night. Would recommend and would return
