We ate here one night. It was not really busy. Loads of staff on but they didn't seem to be doing anything. It took ages for the food to arrive but when it did, it was good. Even ordering a drink at the counter was a chore.

Nice bar, quite pricey but expected given it's an upmarket hotel! Its' quite dark but overall nice - had a pleasant experience!

The BFM and significant other decided to go to the bar at the Fitzwilliam Bar for a cup of tea one cold Saturday afternoon in February last. Great Victoria Street Belfast BT2 7BQ 028 9031 1588 The surroundings were superb and the staff very friendly. We did not have to wait for any length of time either to be seated,... More

As guests in the hotel we decided not to brave a winter's night and go to the hotel bar. It lacked atmosphere and served really poor Guinness. Should be a lot better.

Purchased a living social voucher for afternoon tea as a treat for mum and I and, I can say it was just average. I have been to many places in Belfast for afternoon tea so I have a lot to compare it with. The food itself was ok, nothing exciting, in fact it looked pretty boring! I didn't even take... More

I took my girlfriend here as a treat for a night as got a great offer on Bed, Breakfast & 3 Course Evening Meal, on a Friday night. From the moment we checked in we felt welcomed. The check in process was quick and painless. I had booked a Superior room which was absolutely fantastic, a very very modern look... More

Ridiculously long wait to get our food even though the pub was barely half full. We were given every excuse in the book. Finally, we were told the pub shared a kitchen with the restaurant, which was very busy. Forty-five minutes to wait for food is simply unacceptful, regardless of the reason. And the food was only good, not great.... More

Fabulous location for cocktails if you are planning on a night at the opera house! Good choice of cocktails and light nibbles at the table. Bit of a wait for the cocktails as they only had 2 bar staff on. Cocktails are quite expensive and the wait for them annoying. But it's a lovely atmosphere and I'll just order my... More

If you happen to be in town when there's a concert, there is a very good chance that someone famous might be staying here. The cast from the Game of Thrones, well... at least some of them, passed by once when I was there in the bar. Cool place, kind of tucked away from the side of the lobby.

We are staying at the Fitzwilliam but had to review the bar separately because it's so good. The service we received tonight when we had dinner at the bar was second to none. To think we only ate here because the pubs across the road were busy!
