We dropped in here for food having seen a review in our hotel room. We didn't book and turned up on spec. The lady who welcomed us was so friendly and fitted us in sitting in stools overlooking the kitchen. The good was excellent and the service friendly and unhurried. Would definitely recommend and we would probably go again but... More

We went here since it was the highest ranked, reasonably priced restaurant near the Premier Inn in Alfred St and we were not disappointed! All the food was excellent, the service great and it was a night to remember! Thanks!

Last minute booking but always accommodating: lovely little lunch for three, sister visiting from The Burgh....one course only for me lemon sole, just gorgeous with a salad of leaves and fennel, and french chips...alas the latter did not get a look in after the sole......yummie yummie and the fresh prawns atop....on the bone but that was grand, managed very well....should... A group of us dropped in and enjoyed a light lunch - service was very good and the food tasty. We could easily have stayed for the evening but we were on a tight shopping schedule, so had to leave! I would recommend.

Had dinner here on a Saturday, The starters (fried calamari) was good, but I think the main course (roasted hake) was even better. Fish was very fresh and it was cooked to perfection, one of the best meals I had in Ireland. The service was awesome with brilliant recommendations from the waitress. All in all, an excellent restaurant and I... More

At long last a fantastic restaurant offering fine fayre at reasonable prices. This place never disappoints and your guests will be talking about their meal and experience for weeks. Be sure to make a booking to avoid disappointment

We booked this at short notice on a Monday night and were surprised at the busyness of this place, we went for a pre-theatre menu. There were lots to entice us - we had French onion soup, mussels, duck and squid for starters - all very tasty. Our mains were salmon with an oriental twist, haddock, lamb and pork belly... More

A find for us certainly. Booked a table for 8.45 pm on Saturday. Most pleasant 'buzz' and very friendly meet and greet on arrival - everything about the place said 'welcome' and that feeling only intensified throughout the evening - attentive, friendly, and subtle. Kind of a rustic quirky décor with lots of info blackboards - really comfortable and atmospheric.... More

Staff lovely, hard working and on the ball. Atmosphere great, lovely artwork on walls, fresh flowers on every table. Menu great. Food is so fresh, seasonal and super tasty. Can't wait to go back.
