a really great food in a great place

I went with my wife on friday at late lunch, the staff friendly and happy to help us with a few locations that we were looking for in the map. Our order was mixed among all the menus that they have (veggi, lunch-pretheatre and extras) but it wasn't any problem. The food really tasty, plenty of... read more

A cosy restaurant with local, fresh food, an interesting menu and great customer service. It was recommended to us by a taxi driver and didn't disappoint. Not super expensive either.

I loved Everything about this restaurant...the food, the staff, the ambiance...everything. I would highly recommend Ginger to anyone visiting Belfast. We found it on tripadvisor as being a restaurant near our hotel and said we'd try it. From outside, if you stumbled upon it at night, you may not go in...but you walk in the door and its buzzing...on a... More

I ate at Ginger Bistro on Tuesday 20th January having had it recommended by a student I was teaching. On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly smiling waiter who asked if I wanted the lively or the quiet part of the restaurant, I opted for the quiet and have to say the atmosphere was perfect (sometimes dining alone can... Visited Ginger Bistro on Friday 20th February in a party of six. One of the party is gluten free and dairy intolerant and was accommodated throughout the meal. It wasn't an issue so hat's of to the servers and chef for this. A plethora of starters were ordered with three of us having the roasted root veg soup, which was... More

Been here three times now, when we've been in Belfast. So got to try three different dishes, and all were excellent. Scallops were beautiful, sea bass so delicate, but the steak was just so good. Venue quaint, and staff excellent. Lovely place for a meal. Definitely be back, highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant with my partner on Saturday 14th February while in Belfast for a few days. We had a very warm welcome and I have to say the staff really do make this restaurant, they are really such lovely people. The food was nice but I felt my starter of cheddar balls was slightly on the small side... More

Tried for lunch and found it a good choice We tried squid, roast duck salad and Thai curried chicken breast. All were above average and attractively presented and served. The place was busy, though not full. Nevertheless there was a pleasant atmosphere. Service was willing and efficient. Overall, rates as Very Good

Have been a regular customers at Ginger for some years now.. The quality of the food is consistantly excellent . My favourite dish is the Sirloin Steak which is the best I have had anywhere in Belfast and it comes cooked the way you order. The real secret of their success is witout doubt the staff all of whom will... More
