Went for dinner on Saturday night with our 2 kids (5 & 6). Staff were very helpful despite the fact we arrived early and were very accommodating with the kids. The food was excellent, fresh and well presented. Would definitely reccommend to anyone wanting local produce in a setting that's not pretentious.

Dinner here had long been in my "to-do" list and I was very pleased when I finally had the chance to book here with a friend. A reservation was made and the waiting commenced. The food menu at Ginger Bistro is correct in its width and also very deep in both flavour and WOW factor. Certainly a good selection that... More

Tried some years ago, awful. Tried again for lunch recently result, poor food, poor service, poor comfort and loud background music. Will not make this mistake again, we liked noting at all about this venue and would certainly would not recommend it.

We went to Ginger after work last Friday and opted for the early evening menu. Our starters were duck and squid then mains of pork and braised brisket finished off with a plentiful cheese board. Each of the courses was delicious. The wine menu although small is good and reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy with locals and tourist and... More

I visited Ginger Bistro with my daughter and friends on a special occasion to celebrate her starting a PGCE Course in England. The food was excellent in every degree. Attention to detail was first class. The service was attentive, very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend the Ginger Bistro as one the top restaurants... 5 adults and a child seated in a quiet restaurant at a table suitable for 4 was not ideal, leaving us very cramped. Squid for starter was excellent, food on the was whole good. Service was not to a standard of a 10% charge added to bill.

Lovely meal yesterday and the staff are charming as always but please go back to ribeye steak at lunch instead of the sirloin. Much tastier. Mum and I won't go back until you do :)

We found by accident this little bistro situated in a small side street and were really impressed. Our family (me, my wife and our two little kids aged 2,5yrs and 4 months) was warmly welcomed and served nicely through the meal. The lunch menu was filled with traditional Irish dishes with influence from other kitchens of the world. Especially the... More

The prices weren't cheap but the food was delicious. I traveled with a baby in a pram and they moved is tables to accommodate more space. The food took forever to come to the table, over an hour for starters, they were busy, but nowhere should take an hour. Anyway, When starters arrived they were good though. I would go... More

Four of us turned up without a reservation, and despite being packed they found us a table. Venue is quirky and they sell the art work with offers considered! Food was different with inspiration from the Far East. Ham hock terrine starter whilst on the small side, had two bundles of joy in the form of fried cheddar balls -... More
