Although this is my first time and it was only for lunch, I loved this restaurant experience. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was simple but relaxing. There was a great variety on the menu. The food itself wasn’t over complicated but was extremely fresh tasted, the noodles flavoured with lemongrass was a particular favourite. To finish I had... At last - a good choice of dishes for us vegetarians!! My meal was delicious, as were the meals of my meat eating companions. Desserts to die for! Staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere lively. Can't wait to return. Excellent!

Had a lovely meal at Ginger, we had no booking but got a lovely table with great service. The food was Devine cooked to perfection. I had the chicken and noodles it was so tasty and my husband had steak, it was cooked exactly as requested. Well done to all concerned. We will be back when in Belfast again.

Very yummy food at Ginger Bistro. All dishes tasted fresh and of high quality local produce. The staff were very friendly and they do some nice local beers (try the Belfast black). My friend ordered the "Individual Soft-Centred Chocolate Cake with Berries". It was supposed to take 20 minutes, but the waiter brought one out and said the chef was... More

We went out as a family to celebrate Paul's birthday and this was our first visit to Ginger. We went last Saturday evening and we were very impressed, by the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, the friendly and attentive service and particularly, the food which was delicious. We had soup of the day to start, carrot, parsnip and lentil -tasty and... More

I've been to Ginger several times in 2013 and only once unfortunately in 2014, however the food is consistently very good and the staff are very helpful and clearly enjoy serving customers high quality dishes. It is essential to book in advance as its an extremely popular restaurant and even early in the week it can be very busy. Try... More

Good atmosphere and the food was excellent! Very, very delicious! Highly recommended! We ordered warm duck salad and crab and haddock cake for starters, hake and grill haddock for main dishes. Plan to come back tomorrow or later for dessert…

We have now been to Ginger 4 or 5 times and have never been disappointed, the food and service are excellent and the bill is always reasonable. My wife loves seafood where I am more of a steak or chicken person, both are equally well served by the menu. Only thing that can be a little tricky at times is... More

Had a really nice meal. Staff were great. Good value. Highly recommended. Not overly fancy food but well prepared and very good quality ingredients. Would appeal to a wide cross section of people.

Out for an evening meal for two on Saturday 30th August, we had booked for 7pm and when we arrived there was a great buzz about the place, as we walked up to be seated we were met with the open plan kitchen (great to be able to see how your food is prepared!) with people sat right at it... More
