Description: Set in an imposing historic building on Belfast’s central Victoria Street...
Set in an imposing historic building on Belfast’s central Victoria Street, Malmaison is an ultra contemporary, ultra chic, urban retreat. The team behind Malmaison know that hotels aren’t just a place for sleeping, which is why a lot of thought and bags of style have gone in to the resident Brasserie, a hot spot in its own right. With its modernist feel the dining room has hints of 30s deco in its attractive black and red interior. Curved booths and luxurious upholstery are joined by sleek wood and low lighting while service is friendly yet unobtrusive. Two menus – one the simple brasserie menu, the other home grown and local – celebrate the best of Ireland’s ingredients while offering food which appeals to all palates.

The perfect evening

I loved this restaurant! Beautiful decor, friendly staff, lovely wine and delicious food! The one problem we had was a draft hitting our table but we were moved promptly by our kind waitress. Greeted on arrival and promptly seated. Our waiter was very helpful with the menu and helped me choose my starter. Starters were tasty and our steak mains arrived in a timely manner. They were cooked to our request and were nicely presented. My only negative point was the mains could have been warmer. Our waiter (Spanish guy) advised me to... More

Took advantage of their £99 winter offer, bed and 2 course dinner. Room lovely, food in brassiere was delicious. Followed by some lovely cocktail in the bar. Staff were so helpful and informative. Location was perfect , for shopping sight seeing and bars. Could not fault anything. Highly recommend a stay here.

We are big fans of the Malmaison Brasserie and so were very excited to visit again with a living social voucher - £45 for a 3 course meal for two. The service was lovely, very polite and courteous. Our drinks order was taken immediately and delivered promptly before any of the food. To start I had the fritto misto while... More

Great new menu! Start with a cockatil in front of the fire at the best table in the brasserie. Followed by 3 course of sublime food and I won't go into detail on how good the Mal Hot Chocolate was............. Sunday brunch is a must also.
