I went here with my husband, father-in-law and two children. We ordered a round of drinks, two starters and main courses for us all. To start with the coffee was very poorly made and the apple juice was warm. Starters were fine. Main courses came and my husband asked for a glass of tap to which he was refused. It... More

I've been here 3 times in the past 12 months and after every visit I'm left disappointed with the poor service. After this morning's visit I'm definitely NEVER going back. After getting served a pretty average fry I wasn't asked if I needed anything else and when I paid I wasn't even asked if everything was ok. I have never... More

If you want to be completely ignored by the staff and have you meal 3 hours after you sit down then this is your place. The Other Place on the Lisburn Road has changed it's name to Martha's Grill but it has the same unhappy staff and atmosphere. For an "American Diner" they have no concept of customer service!!!

A group of six friends called in today for lunch and everyone of us had an abysmal meal. Wouldn't offer tap water to accompany the lunch and when one person from our group brought out a bottle of water she had brought with her, she was told to put it away. The americano coffee ordered was basically a mix of... More

Firstly...I asked if we could sit at a booth as I have problems with stairs...even if there are just 4 stairs. You would think I had asked fo a kidney!!!! The face and muttering of something under her breath. Took forever to take our order. Took forever to get our food and believe me it wasn't worth it. Hubby said... More

My girlfriend and I decided to give this place a try last Sunday, ordered two breakfasts and coffees, plus a glass of water. Was told that they sell bottles of water, so cancelled the over priced water and promised I would never be back, the food is of an ok standard, but the service is the worst I have had... More

I went here for breakfast this morning with my boyfriend. The food was ok, nothing amazing but the music was unbearable. We told the unfriendly waitress and moved tables but still couldn't wait to get out of there. I really think cheesy hard house is a bit much at top volume on a tuesday morning on the Lisburn road. I... More

After a surprise visit from friends I decided to take them for a meal. The Other Place was the choice. After being seated and getting the drinks in the waitress took our order. In less than 15 minutes we were tucking into our meals. All I can say is that all 4 of us could not say a bad thing... More

I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews on here, a group of 5 of us went for the Ulster Fry breakfast and were all very pleased. The breakfast menu is very clear on the quantities involved, so those expecting a bigger quantity, should probably have ordered one of the larger breakfasts - ours were huge and there was still...
