We went her for cocktails post dinner. The service was excellent if a little slow . However it was a very busy Saturday night so it was understandable. The cocktails were all lovingly prepared with a great huge attention to detail. Especially loved the Expresso Martini. Will go again.

Stayed recently at the Merchant and after a meal elsewhere we had a quick visit to the Cocktail bar before heading to our room. The cocktail menu is extensive but is very helpfully divided into different types. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The cocktails are about £10 each but we really enjoyed them, the complimentary snacks and the... More

The only way to describe this is the ultimate cocktail experience. It is in a fantastic period building with a cocktail menu that is the longest I have ever seen, this really is a fantastic treat. Go to experience one cocktail or many, the fantastic sumptuous surrounding make you feel like you are on top of the world, & a... More

My husband and I fell into the hotel during a rainstorm. We were very fortunate! We enjoyed the 3 course menu (served 6-10:30pm on Fridays) and some beautiful wine. Great service, even better food (we both ate fish of the day).

Stopped here en-route back to our hotel malmaison for a couple of cheeky cocktails. I had a dark and stormy and my wife had a mojito. Both thoroughly enjoyed our drinks, definitively worth a look. Our cocktails were £10 each and I think the champagne ones were around £15. Enjoy.

Had to sit in the Grand Restaurant room as the bar was full but better for that. Manager was very helpful and got us 5 seats and a waiter. Had a couple of drinks and spent most of time looking at the splendour of the room. Not cheap but worth it. Give it a try.

We had a couple of cocktails and really loved the environment and ambience. Would definitely go back. The free bar snacks which must have been made on site were also mouth watering. Definitely go in if you like cocktails and have one

Extensive menu of cocktails, reasonably priced. Nice selection of whiskeys. The bar is in an old Ulster Bank building which has been converted into a bar. Lovely ambiance in a richly decorated, comfortable bar. Perfect for a quiet night cap. Good attentive staff.

Glamorous room in this gorgeous old building to sit and enjoy a cocktail. Extensive menu to choose from and tasty snacks to accompany your drinks.
