Have visited this restaurant on previous occassions. Booked for a family meal on my daughter's birthday. 5 of us dined and all opted for the 2 course meal deal for £10. 3 chose to have starters, breads and tapenade, ribs with BBQ sauce and goats cheese fritters, (as unfortunately no Stilton and pear pâté) all very enjoyable. Mains - pasta,... More

I have been here many times and will continue to go back. Food is excellent, especially the wings. You can get these in the restaurant or as a bar snack - definitely the best wings I've ever eaten in Belfast. The burgers are great, chicken tempura is lovely and light, I've never eaten anything from the menu that there's been... More

Was at the City hosp with my 90 year old mother and asked a passing person where to eat. He said the Ryan was the nearest. As the restaurant was on the first floor we took the lift complete with Six large drums of cooking oil????? They were still there on the way out. Music very loud. Table dirty. Food... More

Was in last year some time and was happy so I decided to call back, to which the menu was quite similar with not many changes. Was thrown out of site of the severs and bar so any time I needed something I was having to go ask myself!! Was just a bit disheartened but I know the potential so... More

I walked here from my B&B as I didn't feel like driving. This is a bar with an upstairs Resturant. They have a real bargain of a starter and main for 10£. They didn't have the Stillson pate but instead a salmon pate with onion relish. This was good but could have be put on two slices of toast. The... More

Would rate it as good rather then average. Made a last minute reservation and was seated in the bar area as the restaurant was full. Waited 20 minutes for the menus and a further 30 for the meal and despite asking twice I am still waiting for a portion of chips 24 hours later! The manager was very pleasant and... More

We visited Ryan's after my son enjoyed his visit,we went Sunday afternoon and I have to say I was disappointed with the food.i ordered pork belly and found the 3" x 3/4" portion inadequate,I could have eaten 3 of these.also the sauce was bland.a pretty uninspiring trip I won't be repeating soon

Love this place, it's one of my second homes and my first stop for a quiet drink. Nice wee bar filled with mostly locals but welcoming to all. Food is great, and prices aren't too bad either.

We hadn't booked but were given a table in the downstairs bar. The service was very good and the food was tasty and very good value.

We visited Ryan's as a group before a night out and we're not disappointed. The service was great, as was the atmosphere. The food was gorgeous especially the famous chicken wings!!! They were to die for. We will defo be back when we are in the area.
