Great service, good value, tasty food

Lunch with friends, lots of things to choose from on the menu - made it a bit difficult because I wanted them all! Good value, good quantities of food and really tasty. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend.

Very easy going casual dining but quality food well prepared.Especially recommend the breakfasts where they use top quality ingredients and they are perfectly balanced unlike the traditional greasy old Belfast fry up.There are free newspaper and the only downside is that parking outside is always a challenge

Quiet morning after 9.. Not busy. Just came in for a coffee- No acknowledgement No menu Meanwhile every one else is eating, order taken or at least with a menu. I sat for 6 minutes before losing patience. Disappointingly uninterested service on a road where 2:5 units are cafès. Walked straight up to cafè smart where I was immediately acknowledged.... More

I spent an evening in Bennetts Bistro last weekend and came away delighted. To start with, the place looks terrific: excellent kerb appeal! Nice ambience and a good buzz going in the restaurant when we arrived just after nine. As later arrivals, we skipped starters and went straight to mains. I ate from the specials menu - duck with potato... More

Called in on Paddy's Day after finishing The Craic 10k so I was ready for a good breakfast. I wasn't disappointed. Massive Ulster Fry for both my wife and I, the youngest got a good sized bowl of porridge and our other daughter, with a sweet tooth, got tucked into a massive blueberry & white chocolate scone. A good fry,... More

This is without doubt one of the best places in Belfast for brunch. We go here regularly and are never disappointed. Try the portobello mushrooms, tomatoes and poached eggs - divine! French toast is also excellent - made with lovely thick crusty bread. Service is always superb. Have tried lunch and dinner in here also just not as good as... More

It would be unfair to give Bennett's just three stars, it's better than that, but it bordered on very good. It's comfortable and welcoming, very nicely decorated, light, very unfussy, with some great original posters and is immediately comfortable rather than luxurious, and welcoming. The menu is wide-ranging, with a blackboard of specials. I had haddock with mixed vegetables and... More

Had a great lunch here at the weekend, all day dining at the weekend is just great. The menu is really varied and creative - clearly a very competent kitchen, judging by the presentation and quality of the dishes we enjoyed and spied going to the other tables. I had the fish special whilst my dining companion had the mother... More

I absolutely love this place as does an army of regular clientele. Whether I call in for a coffee and a home-made bun, or for a full slap-up meal, I am confident of first-class food, a warm welcome with attentive, but not cloying service. The place has a lovely Bohemian feel to it and the good value full menu (breakfast,... More
