Description: Visit Maddocks' Tea Room on the Gower Peninsula. We are all about using the best quality ingredients and wherever possible local produce. All items are homemade and freshly prepared on our premises. We offer warm friendly service and traditionally cooked cakes, pastries, breakfasts, luncheon items and afternoon teas. Maddocks' Tea Room is the perfect place on Gower to enjoy a hearty meal or delicious cakes with quality leaf teas and freshly ground coffees. Many customers stock up on a favourite cake or sandwich item before setting out on a lengthy coastal ramble along the cliffs to one of the nearby sandy beaches including Three Cliffs bay or to relax and 'refuel' for their journey home.

My wife and I went for a coffee and having seen the breakfast menu, decided to have another breakfast (the previous one was at home). What a lovely place: clean, nicely furnished and appointed, friendly helpful staff. I had scrambled egg and smoked salmon, my wife had a bacon butty, with bacon done extra crispy as requested. Both were delicious... More

Ok a bit expensive but really good we all had a large breakfast with cockles and lava bread added on so with a drink worked out around a tenner each. Looking forward to going again.

Popped in this afternoon for something to eat after a bracing walk. We couldn't stay in as we had the dog so the team kindly made us up a couple of plates of delicious quiche and pasty salads to eat out. Such tasty food and fab service - thank you. Just got back home and eating the welshcakes with a... More

This tea room was a great find after a long walk to Three Cliffs, it is just around the corner from the Three Cliffes cafe and served the most amazing Victoria sandwich I have ever tasted. Full of fresh cream & jam - not good on the waistline, but perfect The tea room is quite small, but does have outside... More

Such a lovely place to meet over breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. High quality, home made produce with friendly staff and owners The peppermint tea is amazing. The only down side is that it's very small so it's quite common to turn up and be turned away. It would be lovely if they could be in larger premises so more... More

If this place is ever open, the food is good. The welsh cakes are to die for, but frankly, we have failed to find it open on over 10 occasions over that last 6 months when we visit. Three cliffs coffee shop just up the road is however far more reliable.

This is one of two cafe's at The Three Cliffs car park, also with outdoor seating as well as inside, food is home made and portions are very good, prices too are very reasonable, it does get busy when the weather is warm as it was this weekend but we found a table no problem, well worth a visit.

Slightly off the beaten track, seemingly hidden away this tiny little place was found by chance and was definitely worth the visit. Excellent food. Pleasant and friendly. Quick and efficient service. They pay attention to the small details and it really makes the difference. Loved it and would definitely go back.
