A lovely cafe which has good quality food and drink at reasonable prices. You are always served with a smile. Only complaint is they aren't open all week!

Called into Maddocks' Coffee Shop, Southgate, Gower for a light lunch & hot drink - it was excellent. Not only were the staff welcoming but the food purchased was well presented, very tasty and reasonably priced. There was no pressure for customers to leave once the meal was finished and payment was due only prior to leaving - what a... More

.Took my grandparents out for a day trip to the Gower and during the planning phase we spotted Maddocks via reviews on here. Im happy to say the actual place more than lived up to the excellent reviews. From the outside it looked small but cozy and when we got inside it felt very homely with a great atmosphere. We... More

I go here regularly with a friend for breakfast The welsh veggy breakfast comes with laverbread and poached eggs which are always perfectly done My friend rates the meaty breakfast too The food and coffee is consistently good, the cafe always spotlessly clean and there is great attention to detail in the way that things are served. Deserving of it's... More

Dropped by Maddocks on a cold Nov day to a very warm welcome and indeed faultless service throughout. The baked potato with hot melted cheese was one of the best I've had in recent times. Just thought the price were on the very high side.
