Visited this pub at lunchtime having been walking nearby with friends and our dogs. It is a shame that this pub is off the main through road, however it is signposted and is only a short detour. Dogs are welcome and the friendly bar person provided a fresh bowl of water immediately. The menu does not offer a massive selection... More

The service wasnt bad and they was quite friendly, but was very let down by the quality of food for the price you pay we expected a lot better, when you order your meal you expect the food you order to be on your plate not to be told "oh sorry i forgot we ran out at lunch time" we certainly wont... Friendly staff greeted us. The dish I wanted and had previously was not on the new menu but the chef made it for me anyway. Hikers menu available it is a shame that there is little passing trade as this is a gem of a place. Can be a little pricey if there are a number of you.

We booked table for 13 for Sunday lunch and rang 2 days prior to confirm. When we arrive we're told no Sunday lunch (told the chef had a bereavement even though we had heard he had walked out. No phone call to inform us. Very poor customer service.

We went to the Waterloo Inn at Nash yesterday, for the first time in quite a few years, for Sunday Lunch to celebrate our Grandfather's 98th birthday. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The food was all delicious with generous portions & plenty of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for our waitress who was most... More

Having been here a few times with friends we were hoping that with a new menu things would improve The staff are very friendly even though on a freezing cold night we were told it wasn't cold enough for the log fire to be lit ... one of the attractions we kept going back was the log fire. The new... More

Hello, we are deeply saddened to hear your feedback about your recent visit to our establishment. Whilst every effort is made to ensure all aspects of a visitors evening is to the highest standard we have unfortunately missed that mark on this occasion. In regards to the fire being lit, there have been many mild days and evenings recently, the... More

Went to the Waterloo on a friends recommendation, when I arrived the reception from the staff was spot on. We both ordered sirloin steak which was cooked exactly as we asked for. As for the staff they were very helpful and attentive we will certainly be using this pub again and I highly recommend it.
