Having stayed numerous times at the Celtic Manor, used their facilities an equal amount of time and eaten in all the restautants, lounges and coffee bar, my experience of treating friends to afternoon tea was unfortunately as expected, DISAPPOINTING.... My mission is to find tea-rooms that rate a 10 out of 10. The Ritz in London have scored a high... More

We booked a meal at the Crown Restraunt and it was beautiful! We could not fault the food or service and the waiter very knowledgeable. Lovely place for a special occasion!

My second visit to this wonderful restaurant. As a vegetarian I am often served bland food, every course served here is flavourful and all the flavours work so well together. The bread is the best i've tasted. The desserts are beautifully presented and taste divine. I will be returning very soon. The best restaurant within the Celtic Manor, i've tried... More

We ate here 24 April. The service and attention to detail was superb. As a group of 4 we mostly ordered different meals. Everyone was convinced that they had ordered the best meal as all were excellent. The presentation of each meal was truly fabulous. This restaurant gets better and better with each visit. One of the nicest meals I have ever had. My mother and I dined on a Wednesday evening and had the option of having a three course set menu for £30 (usually £50). In addition to these courses we had canapés, breads, a 'pre-dessert' and coffees and handmade chocolates afterwards. The restaurant was very quiet as there was a conference... More

I generally try and book one of the restaurants in the Celtic Manor for mother's day every year and have always wanted to book Terry M but have always found it so much more expensive. This year there was only £2 difference between it and the other restaurants so thought it was the perfect time to try it. We were... More

We have dined previously when the restaurant was a part of Crown so decided to give it a try again under new managment. What a surprice! The food was absolutely fantastic, I had the artichoke starter and beef fillet cooked to perfection with very well blanced garnish. We've took wines by glass to match the food and they were exceptional.... More

Have put off dinning at Terry M ( The Crown) for some time because of the mixed reviews. Finally decided to give then a go as we need more good quality restaurants in the area. On arrival we're met by a very messy bar area and disorganised staff. Not a good start. From the outset the experience was not 'fine... More
