I recently visited the Celtic Manor Hotel to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary . As it was a special occasion and having looked at the menu board outside Terry M restaurant it gave me various options. What I did not realise when booking,is that I would need to take French lessons before arrival. I partly blame myself, not having a lot... More

Second visit to this restaurant, I was afraid the first visit was a flash in the pan, none of it. Brilliant service with outstanding food, the beef fillet was just fantastic. The prices are so reasonable, compared with the South East of England, I might move to Wales.

The food was lovely, but tea was not very hot. The service was very slow and even trying to attract attention to ask for the bill took some while. The tea was set out in a garden room with views over the golf course. The room itself was very chilly. The price was reasonable,£24 a head. I cannot understand why... More

Booked Terry M Fine dining restraunt which was nothing more than ok. Not an experience and left hungry. After just 2 hours and 40 mins exited resort to be told we needed to pay for parking I thought this must be a mistake so approached reception to be told that was it! Rip off!!!

We have eaten in a lot of fine dining restaurants, the highlight being Gavin's at windows in London. Terry M is the only restaurant we have been to that comes a very close second. The staff are excellent, very attentive but not pushy, The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is perfect. I thought it was reasonably priced especially if... More

The Celtic manor is a superior resort, terry m sitts to the left of the main lobby area, been twice same nags both times really, I feel the presentation slightly let's the food down a bit, but all in all a fantastic venue for fine dining

Visited as part of a wine tasting event & it's a really affordable way of sampling the food & wine here, although you don't get to choose what you eat & drink so not one for fussy diners perhaps. The food & wine were exceptional, the welcome & service warm & friendly. They also do cookery demos here, which is... More
