We finally got around to trying Terry M's at the Celtic Manor and it was well worth the wait. The food was excellent. We had the set three course menu and each course was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed but the service was superb. All of the staff were attentive without being over bearing. The venue is tastefully decorated without... More

Went for a birthday treat to Terry M - we'd been before so knew what to expect. However, at the prices being paid it still needs to be better than the last meal we had and we were not disappointed. Excellent attentive service (although we didn't seem to get as well topped up with bread as on previous occasions, this... More

Went for a weekend break,Fantastic hotel, restaurants and bars,a little pricey but good value for this type of hotel. Dined at their top restaurant the Terry M,booked the tasting menu and matching wines which were very very good but not Mitchelin star standard. Overall a great weekend in a fabulous hotel and a very good restaurant. would go again

I booked afternoon tea at the Celtic manor for my mothers 74th birthday. I've experienced afternoon tea at many places across the world from the ritz in London to raffles in Singapore, I have to say that the cakes were just bricks of sugar with no flavour. I'm completely disappointed by the experience, I would actively discourage others from trying... More

I booked to take my partner to stay at the Celtic Manor and decided to try dinner at the Terry M whilst we were here. I've read some mixed reviews, but our experience was great. The wine list is extensive, there is a cool, calm atmosphere the night we dined. The waiter was very attentive and the food was gorgeous.

came here yesterday for a meal and ate from the 3 course a la carte menu. I had the asparagus, goats cheese & mushroom starter, the asparagus was cooked fine, the goats cheese and mushrooms however lacked cheesy/mushroom flavour, and the whole dish was over seasoned and too salty for my taste. Then I had the quail for my main... More

My wife had been given a voucher for lunch for two at the Celtic Manor. She opted for the Terry M restaurant, where we spent an enjoyable few hours. This was from the sample lunch menu du jour. We had bread roll and celery soup to begin with. Then for starters my wife had the carpaccio of beef with crudités,... More

Attended an evening wedding party at the golf club Celtic Manor Newport, the hog roast was very nice with sides of pasta salad, coleslaw, rolls and all the traditional trimmings that go with pork and there wad plenty to go around twice if you wanted. Staff were very efficient clearing used glasses and plates from tables as soon as they... More
