Lovely little pub

Came here whilst staying locally on a golf break. It's a friendly little pub with very pleasant and helpful staff. On top of that it serves a good variety of ales and ciders. However, the real gem here is the food. It is well cooked, nicely presented and very tasty. All 3 of our starters and mains... read more

Our food took over an hour and a half to come (we had booked a table and arrived on time). The service all evening was frustrating, forgetting drinks and we became fed up of the apologies for the... This pub is very lovely, the staff were friendly and it was very busy when we were in there. It was a lovely place, and had lots of flowers a beautiful beer garden & even live music playing when we visited there. I would recommend this pub and visit again!

We booked a table late but the staff were still lovely and friendly and happy to have us there. They were very attentive. I am a vegetarian and there was a very different variety of vegetarian food which was DELICIOUS however there was only two options on the mains in comparison to 10 non-vegetarian mains. This is my only complaint... More

Only called for drinks, pub was very busy because of the festival. A good range of ales on offer, able to taste before buying. Didn't have any food this time. Staff are helpful and friendly.

First visit to the Bell Inn and it deserves its reputation for good food. Went there for lunch on 2nd July and my wife and I had a really great meal, excellent service from the two girls. We were so impressed that we booked a table for our wedding anniversary. My wife had flat iron steak which was cooked to... More

I took my partner here for our first anniversary. From the start the staff were helpful and it came across as a nice pub. There was quite an array of beers to choose from. Only trouble was the menu and time it took for the food. I appreciate it was all cooked fresh but an hour for a starter that could... More
