I went for a meal with family friends and we all enjoyed our food. The menu offers a variety of different dishes, the atmosphere is great and the value for money is superb! I shall definitely return

On Monday my family and I went to this lovely 'olde world' restaurant. We were all very happy with our meals. We went for the two course offer and we were amazed at the high quality and value of every dish. Drinks were great and service was excellent. My birthday cake was delivered well and we had a brilliant evening.... More

Visited here recently due to fantastic comments but was a little disappointed as we had 2 people who ordedered steak and both were very chewy. Starters of garlic mushrooms were lovely and cheesecake fantastic! Would like to try something else off the menu and can't complain too much as very cheap food just won't be ordering the steak again. The... More

My husband and I booked for Saturday evening, which I advise doing as this place is very popular. The inn has a small menu (which I think is good) including some exotic zebra and buffalo choices. I had the steak, which was superb. The inn has changed its meat supplier which has slightly increased costs, but this is fully justified.... More

Had a fantastic family meal the other night. 2 courses for 10 pounds. Not a huge range of food but there was something for everyone. By how we were treated and how well presented the food was it felt like a very high class restaurant. Fantastic! Thanks

My wife and turned up without a booking but was accommodated despite the restaurant being fully booked. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and well trained. The food was very good, well presented and cooked, with excellent portion size for a very modest price. Despite the fact the table was required for a later booking we were never placed under... More
