Back again which in itself must be a sign. Great value for money with huge quantity and choice of vegetables to go with very good roast beef/lamb/chicken. Not for the faint hearted. A little bit rushed with little time to rest between courses but still worth a visit. Nothing spent on the decor yet but that's because they don't charge... More

We ate Mothe's Day lunch at the Huntsman yesterday. It was rather like the Curate's egg, good in parts. The staff were friendly and the food plentiful. The points that need improving are: 1. I ordered broccoli and Stilton soup, which was lukewarm and seemed as if it had been thickened with a lot of flour. I had to ask... More

Took wife and kids out with brothers family for sunday lunch to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday. After all finished, I must be honest, it was a struggle to move!! £15 a head for a great starter, a MASSIVE main course which the girls and boys served with such professionalism and generosity, that your plate was a mountain! However, you... More

I went to the hotel for a meal with some friends. The food was delicious, homemade, and top quality. I cant wait to go back and try something else. The decor was a bit tired but appears as though they are slowly updating it. Overall a lovely experience and well worth a visit.

Went to the Huntsman Hotel last Sunday for lunch with friends and husband. Nice food, very fabulous portions and great value at £15 for three courses. My only criticism would be that the desserts didn't seem home made, but they were still nice. Very attentive staff and well worth a visit. Decor is a little tired but this added to... More

Stopped off at the Huntsman on the way home from holiday and the food was very good. Had sherry trifle for dessert and felt it was one of the best I have tasted. The price of the meal was good value for the size of the portions and the quality of the food. Probably revisit if we go back to... More
