We visit Garlands during our regular visits to Cardiff. We are always impressed with the friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the excellent service. Good quality food for both the meat eaters and vegetarians among us - my favourite is the glamorgan sausages, the best i have ever tasted!!! more

We came to Garlands for breakfast while on holiday with our 3 children (7, 5, and 4 months). I had the Pancake Breakfast - with proper crispy bacon! Friendliest service I have encountered, extremely nice food at a resonable price and easily the most relaxed, unobtrusive atmosphere in Cardiff. The venue is small and personal with quiet, relaxed music. The choice is very wide with a good selection of local dishes using locally sourced produce. more

I love this place, the food is fresh, appetising and reasonably priced . The coffee and cakes are more tasty than those in department stores and it is great to have efficient table service. It is also cleaner. I will definatley be eating here again . It is convenient as it is just across the road from the castle grounds... more

If you get tired of walking through a central Cardiff, do not miss the Garlands Eatery in shopping arcade just near the Cardiff Castle. Stumbled across Garlands whilst looking for breakfast pre shopping. is a lovely local friendly place, love the decor and relaxed atmosphere- I had relaxing breakfast then after morning shopping returned for coffee and cake! Cant fault it - food was tasty, service was prompt - will definately be frequenting more often. more
