I was invited to a celebratory birthday meal at this establishment, not having heard of it I was wondering as to what I was going to experience especially as my relatives were talking about it being a famed fish restaurant, I dislike fish. On arrival I had my eyes opened by the variety of the menu, yes there were varieties... More

I have eaten at the Caesars a number of times over the years and it has a trusted formula (based originally on other restaurants in Cardiff, Le Mondes, La Brassarie El Peurto etc) for delivering good food in a pleasant setting. Eseentially its a variety of good quality meats and fish that you choose from the variety on display and... More

We've been eating at this brasserie restaurant for c20 years and nothing has changed - that could be taken as good or bad comment! It's Always full. Service is friendly ute not as efficient as it used toe. There doesn't seem to be enough staff taking the orders and queues are lengthy. They should and exacerbated by the staff cutting... More

The service at Caesars is outstanding and the food was nice but steak and chips is hard to get wrong and for twenty quid is not my idea of good value compared to what you can get elsewhere. The salad bar was good but that's extra. There's a good atmosphere so for a special occasion you might just forget the... More

This restaurant is better than average and serves good, fresh pub food. There is a good selection and everything was cooked as requested. The interior of the restaurant is tired and could do with updating. The staff were very pleasant and the service was steady. We will return.

We have visited this restaurant/pub many times, always for lunch, and have never had a less than excellent experience. The lunchtime specials are always good both in terms of value and quality. The crispy cod and chips will always be a favourite, probably the best chips in Wales. Great staff, always pleasant and attentive and never in a hurry to... More

Having read good reviews we attended for an evening meal. We waited a long time for our starters, when they arrived the food was below average. The main course was again a very average meal. Certainly not worth the £80 bill - 2 people.

We went here for an anniversary and have been many times before. Normally we would have steak but this time I had pan fried monkfish Thermidor and my husband had the sea bass. Cooked to perfection and sadly after two courses we gad no room for dessert. Lovely ambience and all the staff are very polite and attentive.

I am always amazed that This restaurant is not ranked higher. I have been here many times and have always had a superb meal. Today was no different. The Sunday lunch is the better than any of many other restaurants I have been to. Keep up the very high standards, I will be back soon
