Family get together Pre-Christmas 2014

Visited The Caesars Arms in December 2014 for a family get together and enjoyed the evening thoroughly. The food was delicious, plentiful and fresh, so you can't really ask for more. I visited this restaurant with friends. The staff are so friendly, helpful and courteous, nothing is too much trouble. I was very impressed with the quality of the food, and surroundings which was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

My review of The Caesars Arms follows my recent visit on Mothering Sunday March 2015 but I have eaten here many, many times with family, friends and for special occasions. I cannot speak from experience of their dinner service but only lunches and mainly on a Sunday. Caesars looks like a country pub and has a bar area but is... More

Fantastic food, always fresh and on display. Never had a bad meal there. The venison is excellent and one of my favourite meals. Really good service as well. This place is well worth a visit. All food cooked in full view of the dining area.

I grew up about 5 miles from the Caesars and must have been there 20 times or more. It's a family favourite and has seen 50th wedding anniversaries, engagement celebrations, kids sunday dinners, the lot. They'll cater for everyone. Quite a history of my family. The management even let my uncle 'pipe in' a birthday cake for my nan, bagpipes... More

Prior to eating at Caesars this weekend, my last visit was over 8 years ago. Having previously visited a good few times a year I had stopped going as the service was nothing but shocking and did not match the price tag of the food. When friends called us up though and suggested meeting there for lunch I was happy... More

The Caesars is a very "posh" country pub. It's a very nice public house, but it's speciality is it's food, the service, they just can't do enough for you. Don't expect it to be cheap, a very decent meal with wine will set you back, on average, £100, that is for 2 people. You can eat here more cheaply, but... More

Having been to Ceasers many times I will not be going again. Had a very very poor night out there. The waiting staff were very lacklustre. The server who you place the food orders with was rude. We had to go back and forth the bar as no waiting staff were remotely interested in serving drinks or even showing us... More
