Enjoyable experience overall.

I have been to The Caesars Arms many times and have always had a pleasant experience. Food is more toward the expensive side but the quality definitely makes up for that. The only downside is that the vegetarian options always seem to be the same (presumably there is a rotational veggie menu and I... read more

A visit to this restaurant, is not an experience, but an event! When ever we want a treat, or somewhere special to go, it's here. Upon arrival, you sit in the reception area, tell the waitress you are there, for your (e g 7.30 pm booking) Have a seat, and a drink. You are told to select your order, which... More

Been a customer here for over 20 years (business family & social). Quality rarely disappoints but I can understand reviewers who say it's expensive. Car park never empty and usually nearly full (Bentley convertible - a red one - straddling two spaces last Sun!). In fact quality cars in the car park can be a good indicator sometimes? Sunday lunch... More

We have attended this restaurant on a number of occasions over the years but our recent visit was highly disappointing. The staff were very unhelpful the food came out at different times. It's not a cheap place but the standard has slipped. Food was pleasant

Visited here on Saturday night after a gap of about 15 years. The restaurant used to be my favourite in South Wales but stopped returning after a few mediocre experiences.. However, I needed somewhere to celebrate a fiftieth birthday and having read the most recent reviews and recommendations from friends decided to give it another go. I can honestly say... More

Had dinner with My Wife and myself , we had not been here for some time and after reading some of the reviews regarding price wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment we arrived and were shown to our table by Steve to the moment we walked out of the door you could not fault the service we received.... More

If I'm honest, if I could afford to I'd eat here everyday. The best steaks and the sea bass is to die for, I'd suggest that they drop the prices a little cos it can be a really expensive night out....but the place is always packed, so why would they?? Special occasions only for me and the rest of the... More

Went there again because my wife likes fish and there is always a good selection. However at £40 for a Dover sole, was big, a little pricey, settled for something a little more reasonable for lunch. It was cooked to perfection and it was enjoyed, but I cannot say the same for the venison steaks or the lamb racks. A... More

It's a nice place and the food is reasonable but it's hugely overpriced for what it is. I just wanted a normal meal but ended up £100 lighter for my wife and I to eat with a few drinks. I think they believe its classier than it actually is, it's good but not £100 good.

My son and partner stayed at one of the farms holiday homes nearby and we planned our Saturday evening meal here as I was working nearby. It was Saturday and a big rugby weekend plus Sunday was Mothers day so it was very busy, but from the moment we arrived the level of service was excellent. Indeed before we even... More
