Nice place

Good location and nice surroundings, a bit pretentious and quite expensive for what you actually get. The bell ringing when someone pays is a bit naff.

Went here recently for Sunday lunch but it was really nothing special. In fact I've had a hundred times better for a fraction of the money. As I said, I've only been for Sunday lunch so, therefore, cannot comment on the rest of the cuisine. Found it quite dark inside with no real atmosphere.

Visit this restaurant quite often over the years and has been consistently good. Always have the fish which is delicious every time. You have a choice of potatoes, chips boiled or jacket. The salad bar, where you help yourself, is full of different salads which I love.. The place is always very busy and the service very good. Highly recommend.

Visited a few times and I love the concept of choosing your own piece of fresh fish or steak and although expensive you know exactly what your getting .So why have I awarded this only three stars because the salad bar and deserts land service let the rest of the experience down. Quality ingredients and cooking on an open grill... More

Love love this restaurant. Wonderful setting, with lovely views. The staff are helpful and friendly. Always have a fish dish, it has always been cooked to a high standard and tastes delicious. The deserts are to die for. Can not wait to return there soon.

Family meal expecting great things, staff great and helpful on booking. Everyone who had the fish enjoyed however the steak was a different story, fillet asked for medium but no blood, however blood dripped out onto the plate. I tasted the fillet , it was not tough but not a good quality fillet. The manager was told but his attitude... More

Definately over priced and thought we would be paying for quality when it wasn't. Waitress service was fab very polite and nothing was a problem. Manager rude as when he was told at the end my mother steak was chewy he replied "we have done 200 steaks today and not had a complaint" how rude !! It's definately somewhere for... More

We visited on a Friday evening. We had been given a gift voucher. The decor was pretty much late 70's and so was the queue to order/ no menu concept. The staff did however seem friendly and attentive. The general experience wasn't very good value for money but the food itself was quite nice. Atmosphere is key to enjoying the... More

A sought after stop! Well worth a visit. Enjoyed immensely an evening meal with the family just after my actual birthday. The bill was settled by my brother-in-law for 5 people, not sure on cost, but all enjoyed freshness & variety. Looking forward to my next visit, book early is a must.
