My colleagues and I sometimes pop in here for a cheap lunch if we don't have much time. The service is good and the food is quick to be served.

Went to pulse today with some friends. 3 adults and 5 children in total. The food was cheap and but tasty. Excellent value for money, especially the children's meal deal. However, what stood out the most was the service! It was second to none! The staff were lovely. Not only were they friendly and polite, they were fantastic with the... More

Had a mixed grill , food was tasteless and to get things worse founded a piece of metal on my steak that got stuck on my gum. Worst meal ever. Amazing place to go on a night out but never going back there for food again.

Due to the cut-price drink war that Chuchill Way bars are involved in, Pulse mostly contains noisy groups, often with many children. These only disappear (if you are lucky) by about 8pm and it then reverts to what it is supposed to be - a gay bar. The staff are often more interested in themselves than the punters and the... More

Great bar & club popular with many but mainly a gay venue, however as the nights are getting warmer the club allows body artists in to paint the customers, the paint can leave a mess and seriously stain clothing so either avoid the body painting or don't wear expensive clothing as I don't think Pulse is going to pay cleaning... Travelled all the way from Kent to go to Cardiff Mardi Gras and was so impressed with this bar. Had loads of atmosphere the prices were fair and the entertainment was varied will definately be making a trip back. The Street party they hosted was one of the best. Loads of people and bags of entertainement. The club was heaving... More

I dined here with friends on a Saturday afternoon. We opted for the beer and burger option (similar to that of Lloyds bar) the portions were tiny and I got the impression it was Asda value food. Will ensure I go to Lloyds in future if I want a beer n burger

The outdoor setting is really lovely for a warm day. I had the fish and chips, for only £3 which is amazing value. The fish portion is quite large and both the fish and chips are oven baked. Really excellent quality. David had the burger - which he also enjoyed. The owner is very friendly and the staff seem very... More
