Turned up on spec before a gig at The Globe to find it in darkness and looking sorry for itself. Perhaps not surprising given some of the reviews. Lots of other places to eat nearby though so didn't starve!

We had rather a disappointing evening here. The waitress was very rude and quite obviously fed up. The food was average, definitely overpriced for the quality. I would probably have given this restaurant a second chance as the owners seemed very pleasant, however the grumpy waitress has certainly put us off.

I went here with friends, the service was poor, incredibly slow and not very friendly. Everyone in our party of 6 said the food was average, with one person ordering a plain pizza, with olives and mushrooms (ie vegetarian!) and after eating a quarter pepperoni was discovered under the cheese!! the lack of apology was startling, although another pizza was... Have been numerous times before and have never had a bad experience. Last night was no difference - we go there as our daughter loves the tappas. Good food and service, very enjoyable. No hessitation in recommending.

Very nice restaurant that is easy to overlook due to its location. The Mussels in Saffron and cream starter was as good as it sounds, just lacking some bread to mop up the sauce at the end. My Lamb main was delicious- long thin slivers of fillet, served with chilli dipping sauce that was packed with flavour, although a bit... More

Went here on recommendation from a friend. Tapas to start was nice but the main course was really disappointing. The lamb was tough and chewy and the rice was hard and stuck together, must of been microwaved. I don't mind paying out for a nice bottle of wine but £16.95 for a bottle of Gallo is a bit ridiculous! There... More

You'll always have a warm welcome at Puccinis. We've eaten here many times over the years and they always offer really tasty Mediterranean food well cooked. Their choice of tapas is very extensive. I wish more people would support this place as it is an asset to the area. They also accept Gourmet Society, Tasting Card, Invitation Card etc so... More

My husband and I really love this restaurant. The best tapas...we always go for spanish potatoes, hullimi and hummus(the best i have ever tasted). I love the Lebanese pizza...so lush. Staff always friendly and helpful.

we went here with a gourment card offer , its not the sort of place we would normally go as outside looks a bit of a mess and the interior decor is not great, however the food especially the tapas were good and tasty, clean toilets , friendly staff, beef dishes a bit over cooked, overall pretty good

I've got mixed feelings about Puccini. On the one hand, the staff are friendly , the food is reasonable and the prices OK value, especially the tapas deal. On the other hand, the ambience is cold, the dining area is either far too overlit or too dark ,the house wine is a bit grim and the service is patchy, with... More
