Nice but Fridays is nicer

Didn't seem to be busy when I was there, food is totally American brought in a basket. Nice burger and soda 6.5/10

My kids love to eat here. Food is great and nice vibe to the place. However the drinks are very expensive and it cost around £2 for a can of American soda. Will eat here again but hope they make their soft drinks more affordable

This establishment is in the dining area of St. David's 2 in Cardiff. Previous I have walked past it as I don't normally dine in the city centre. What a fool! A couple of days ago I was in town and was starting to get hungry and so happened to look at Ed's. The decor is made to look like... More

Visited Ed's after a trip on the sightseeing bus (well worth it if staying in Cardiff for 2 days as the ticket is valid for 48 hours). Have to agree with previous reviewers that it felt a bit cramped (we were in the back corner of the diner) but the food was very good and the staff friendly and attentive.... More

We have tried Ed's a couple of times but we have to say the food is basic and poor, the potions arent great. The service is rushed and you feel cramped and uncomfortable in the diner as they have too many tables jammed in to a small space.

We've eaten at an ed's in London many years ago. This location is very much the same. Really enjoyed the meal. Typical style hamburgers and hot dogs. Malts, floats, and shakes. Also, some "good selection" for your heart as well. We have a BBQchicken breast Caesar salad, and a cheese burger with fries and coleslaw and opinion rings. (I would... More

Really nice atmosphere, lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. We ate here with 2 teenagers and a baby, and the staff made a fuss of the little one, and we were provided with a highchair for which there was plenty of space. Food was great, and good value. Would recommend!

My first visit to Ed's was in the 90's....many hot dogs later I had a late lunch here yesterday....the food as always was very good, the service slick, great fries, onion rings , coleslaw etc. I always feel good after a visit...and free wifi.....great to have outlets in Wales...

Generally, I love Eds! My friend and I went for lunch here last week. It was fairly busy, but had a few tables free. We were seated and our drinks order taken and our food order taken promptly which was great as my friend was on her lunch from work. The food was delicious and plentiful as usual. The one... More

We went to Ed's Diner at around 4pm so it was pretty quiet and we were seated straight away. I was practically drooling as I read the menu... I wanted to try everything! I was torn between having a hot dog or a burger, but I finally settled on a Chilli Cheese Burger Combo Plate. This consisted of a chilli... More
