Burger and a pint

Once you have navigated the frankly terrible menu layout the food is at the better end of the scale that you'd expect from such an establishment. Good value when going for the burger and a pint deal. In a large group for the visits and no-one had strong opinions either way.

Went here for a quick late lunch ordered a sharing platter between 2 of us - lovely quality food, plenty of it and nicely cooked - also good staff service - definitely good value for money

Poor service all round from this pub - despite being a busy evening the bar was woefully understaffed and even when they got round to serving you they didn't seem bothered. Food took an age to arrive and then it was the wrong order. Minuscule portions. I wouldn't bother coming here, though the decor is nice and trendy.

Busy pub, however, chose to eat here at lunchtime during a shopping trip. Good choice of menu, food average, got what you paid for, just a shame the staff couldn't manage to serve cold white wine, warm wine is not quite what you like but didn't feel this would be understood by the staff we were served by.

good food and atmosphere at this central bar, good music and friendly staff. A Christmas atmosphere and not too busy so the food was served in quick time and was hot and tasty the drinks were served with a smile and are reasonably priced in this competetive city.

Spent a couple of hours outside this bar, in the late October sunshine. Just had a couple of drinks outside and didn't dine here this time. Bar service was efficient and the waiter was frienly. Drinks were as expected, cold and refreshing lol. Large bar in St Mary's Street in the middle of the city centre. There were about 8... More
