Visited for lunch. Ordered a pulled pork wrap. Came out semi cold, unmelted cheese and to my horror when eating the second half of the wrap it was mouldy. Bar staff apologised, informed the manager who spoke with the kitchen. The kitchen said it was the first wrap out of the packaging so it's a quality issue with their supplier.... More

Stopped here for a steak meal and were not disappointed even when they had run out of rib eye (was really busy). Ordered the aged rump with my friends and shared sides of spicy chicken wings and ribs. The food was very good and very tasty. Also really good value for money. Will go again on our next rugby weekend

We were in Cardiff looking for a pub at about 8:30 pm. Many places close early, but O'Neills' kitchen was open until 9:30 pm. That was the first helpful bit. We great enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken skewers with peri peri sauce and it was so tasty. Their chips (aka fries) are SO addicting- really delicious and large... More

We visited O'Neills a few times on our visit to Cardiff last weekend. The pub is welcoming, the staff are friendly and helpful, the beer is good and the food is excellent value and great quality. Although mind the little step as you go in, whoops - I missed it. See you again soon - and the step!!!

I found the service good and the atmosphere great with live music in the bar which everyone seemed to be enjoying. Drinks very reasonable too. It can be too loud if you happen to sit near one of the large screen TVs.

As it was St Patrick's Day we thought it would be rude if we didn't pop into O'Neills for a taste of the black stuff. When we arrived it was very busy but we got served pretty quickly. There was a live band playing Irish classics and everyone was singing and cheering along. It was a fantastic atmosphere. As for... More

I watched people's evening spoiled by over zealous doormen who did not appear to have enough to do. The bar was busy with a good atmosphere and band but people apeared to be bullied into leaving which left an unpleasant taste.
