Excellent, authentic Italian food with lovely staff and a cosy atmosphere. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to get a table, but how can that be a complaint? Brilliant value for money with pizzas on a par with the ones we had in Rome. Need I say more?

I visited with two friends before watching a show at St David's theatre. I chose my meals from the specials board and I enjoyed every mouthful. We had a lovely time here and we weren't disappointed in the slightest. Well worth a visit.

Best Italian restaurant in Cardiff. The authentic Italian food is always delicious! Would highly recommend. It is a tiny place though so it is always best to book!

I visited this restaurant for lunch yesterday with my niece who does not eat meat. The ambience is great and the service is OK. The food, however, was a huge disappointment and I cannot for the life of me understand why most people on here are raving about it. Everything is just too fussy - Bruschetta came with bits of... So sorry to see your review. We have two kinds of bruschetta on the menu, on our homemade bread - a vegetarian option with tomatoes, and one with pancetta and mushrooms. (Pancetta is cured and dried pork belly, not ham). It must be that either you chose the wrong bruschetta, unaware of what pancetta is, or perhaps the waiter misunderstood... More

Great, authentic, cosy, informal italian atmosphere. Wood fired pizzas to die for. Very small so booking essential.

Slightly gutted this place has become so popular as it's so hard to get a table. Only managed to get in on a couple of occasions and was lucky enough to have some of the best Italian food I've had in my life, a million miles away from all of the chains that saturate Cardiff. The starter dishes are excellent,... More

I went to Cardiff to do some shopping as I had not been for quite some time and come early evening I decided to treat myself and go somewhere to eat. There are plenty of chains to choose from with the usual fabulous decor, indoctrinated staff and distinctly average (and luke warm) food. Having eaten at some of them over... More

We enjoyed dinner here recently after reading all the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and reports from others who had eaten here. The restaurant is tiny and if we hadn't heard about it we would have just walked past and missed the treat it was. It may be very small but what it lacks in size it more than makes up... More
