Description: At the heart of Cardiff’s thriving Cafe Quarter lies the stylish Juboraj...
At the heart of Cardiff’s thriving Cafe Quarter lies the stylish Juboraj – the city centers best loved Indian restaurant. The Café Quarter and Hayes areas of Cardiff Centre have undergone a phenomenal multi-million pound transformation over the past few years. Mill Lane itself has been completely renovated and is now home to a multitude of high quality restaurants catering to every palate. There is no doubt that when it comes to eating out this is the place to be. The carefully crafted interior is contemporary as is fitting for its city centre location but maintains, through the use of original art blended with traditional colour scheme and fittings, a truly authentic ‘Indian’ restaurant atmosphere. A fresh approach to customer service, contemporary and traditional dishes made using ingredients of the highest quality and extensive wine list all add up to an experience you’ll want to repeat time and again. The Juboraj Guarantee ensures that only the highest quality New Zealand lamb and Welsh beef, and the finest 100% fresh chicken breast and freshest seafood available, is used in their dishes. With a warm welcome and friendly attentive staff you can be sure that time spent at a Juboraj, whether it be a light lunch, a pre-theatre bite or a candlelit evening meal, will be time well spent.

Great sit down Indian!

I had a phall! It wasn't on the menu and I just asked if there was anything on the menu hotter than a vindaloo that I could try and they said no sorry. But let me go check with the chef. The waiter came back and said look he can make you a phall if you like and just charge... read more

Recommended to us by a member of staff at the hotel we were staying at which was close by, wonder if there may have been a connection as I wouldn't recommend it. Given that the Ashes were on the restaurant was busy and had a number of English and Australian fan groups. Served by a waitress who appeared to be... More

We were recommended this Indian by someone in a pub who was listening to us discussing where to eat as we checked Tripadvisor. Normally I would not even give a second look at a restaurant which is ranked so low. Thankfully the recommendation was better than my fellow trippers. The meal hit the mark and was cooked completely as I... More

Having asked friends for a recommendation, my brother and I found ourselves at Juboraj for an evening curry, but I have to say that I wasn't hugely impressed. We were quickly seated and offered poppadoms, which were accompanied by excellent sauces, as well as a fine large bottled beer. I ordered a creamy chicken curry dish (I forget the name)... More

I had visited this restaurant a few years back and had an excellent meal. I was was with a colleague who knew were the restaurant was (wasn't sure I did) and so we were able to use again. I had the same meal as the previously, I think it's called Jaipuri Chicken, and it WAS as good as I had... More

I nearly didn't go after reading some reviews. Glad I did. This was one of the best curries for ages. Food excellent and service very good. Cost of a LARGE bottle of beer was £6 but still cheaper than two 330ml bottles. Would definitely go again. Worth a visit.

Enjoyed this place for an evening meeting for 8, plenty of room and enough privacy for a good discussion, the restaurant is tastefully decorated with a good menu at reasonable prices, te wine is even reasonable and very good, which is something which Indian restaurants are not known for. This was a great curry house with some delicious specials, all... More

It was odd entrance as building work is ongoing, but stick with it for great food. Was typically quiet as only 7pm. Atmosphere was good and not left feeling sad even though alone.

Our party of four arrived on a Friday evening when Cardiff city centre was full of people and were surprised to find few fellow guests. A somewhat shabby entrance isn't the best start although the ancient photographs of previous well known people who had visited were interesting. The fact that they were years old possibly sums up what has happened,... More

An excellent Indian meal at this City centre restaurant. Well recommend the Dansak. However, all the dishes we tried were fantastic. The Naan was lovely too and the staff were very friendly. Ignore the poor reviews, this restaurant is great.
