The wife and I called into the old library for a lunch-time snack and decided on the soup of the day....... Disgusting!!!! Like it was made with powder and water, The cutlery was dirty, half a baguette turned out to be a bap ,Cheap and nasty- You get what you pay for. Very few people in the pub. The whole... More

Called here as we usually do every year when in Cardiff to see X.Factor on Monday 24th march ( We come from Swansea for the day ) , Walked in at around 4.30pm to a very empty place with just two elderly ladies having a cup of tea and no menu`s on the tables . On asking if they were... More

This is a nice place to have a drink and a catch up with friends; it's clean and the atmosphere is friendly. However food is really bland. I had a mushroom 'madras' here. Was NOT a madras. Not just far too mild but also tasted aminly of salt and was watery. In fact I think they only called it a... More

I have eaten here in the past, but have never felt I got value for money. It is in a prime location so I cannot see why it is being allowed to become run down so much, unless another company has made an offer. Where on my last visit there were tables and chairs there is now a pool table,... More

Went in around 11.30 pm Saturday night with a group of friends, place was dead but we thought we'd just stay for a few drinks and a dance. A lot of money was spent on the round of drinks just to be told less than 5 minutes after we paid we had 5 minutes to drink and leave, music already... More

I pudchased a deal on the KGB voucher website and managed to get 2 meals worth £40 for £15. Starter anf main course. We had 2steaks which were really nice. Added bonus was that there was a band playing and up to 7pm the lager was £1.50 a pint. Well worth a visit.

Nice visitors center and a nice museum about Wales. Also walk around and ask them to show you the entrance from when the building was the library. The tile work is amazing.
