Shambles... disgrace... shameful... (pick your adjective)

Went for a meal before a Wales rugby game. They were charging £49-a-head for a three course set menu. You had to pre-order your menu choices several weeks in advance. And you had to pay in advance. We had the taster menu on 23rd Jan. My husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed it all. Nothing was too much trouble. Sarah our waitress was a delight and so was everyone else who we had dealings with. Would we return? Of course we would. I cannot praise them highly enough. We often eat out and this was one of the... More

We enjoyed our first visit and meal at The Park House restaurant, we had a 2 for 1 voucher for the tasting menu at £69, and this offered great value for money. Each course is well thought out, with little gems of delightful suprise on some of the courses. Every dish was expertly presented and the staff are proficient, helpful... More

Having a taster menu voucher, 2 41 @ £69, visited our favorite restaurant in Cardiff. Again didn't let us down. Warm welcome with excellent service. Food was outstanding and the matched wine was good value and added to the experience. Busy for a mid week and good ambiance. Added bonus was a visit to their extensive cellar.

Visited here last night. The staff here are lovely, we were made very welcome straight away, no stuffiness just genuine good service. We had the winter tasting menu with matching Icon wines. The wines were served before the dish arrived so the sommelier could tell us about the wine and how it would complement the dish. Great building, great staff... More

As a family we love dining here and the chef takes care of dietary requirements such as no salt without compromising on the taste.

I had never visited Cardiff before, found Park House on the internet and had a wonderful Sunday lunch there with a friend. The food was beautifully presented and excellent. The wine list is something else - like a book! We spent a long time rifling through it and, after also receiving some expert advice, chose two excellent and unusual wines... More

We booked the 7 course taster menu. Food was ok. My husbands Monkfish was raw - resembled sushi. My monkfish was cooked well. Risotto and duck were delightful. However, the temperature in the dining room was freezing. Guests were sitting in their costs. One lady even wore a scarf and gloves. I shivered throughout the meal. Waiters apologised but could...
