I have not been to Thailand but have eaten in many Thai restaurants .Given the variety of interesting tastes in every dish we consumed, I reckon that this is the real deal. Cool interior and welcoming staff, we had Satay,Spare ribs and Larb Gai,minced chicken lettuce wrap to start which were very good. Mains were a Lamb Massaman Curry and... More

Headed here hoping for a decent meal following a busy day in the Capital. Staff were very friendly and standard of service was good. Our starters were very tasty and portion size was good - pretty spicy too! For main course I had the pork 2 ways - again the portions were generous and the quality was of a high... More

I ordered a takeaway and specifically asked for the Thai papaya salad to not be spicy. What's evening more embarrassing is that I am Thai and ordered in Thai to the staff and STILL they couldn't get some simple order right. I collected my takeaway, got home, the salad was covered in chilli. I called Bangkok Cafe again explaining that... More

I have only, so far, been to this Restaurant for a quick Lunch. I had good Jasmine Tea, and a Chicken Soup with bean sprouts, all kinds of vegetables, and, strangely, salty and a little sweet. However, the waitress rushed back with a portion of dried Chile seeds and I added 18 to taste - perfect. I shall be back... More

Having traveled around Thailand a year ago there is a special place for Thai food in my heart/stomach. Bangkok cafe offers an array of dishes would all sound delicious. The restraunt is clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. For starter I sampled then squid and for main the red Thai curry, both of which were delicious with my... More

Ate here for lunch while in Cardiff for rugby game. The food was very good and would recommend it. Not sure how far from the city centre it is but it was raining when we visited so we took a taxi out there but wandered back via a couple of pubs and the park to the Millennium Stadium. Lunch was... We ate at BC when our Thai family were visiting and it exceeded our expectations. The food and hospitality were great and the lunch time and children's menus are real bargains. We will definitely be back!

the staff are very welcoming service excellent the only reason for 4 stars is that they don't make it spicey enough we are used to more rustic thai dishes but still most enjoyable
