Dinner

Not thoroughly convinced. Food was generally quite good however the attempts at being so unique don't work (for me at least) all the time. Some were great, some were not palatable at all, so very hit and miss. Good service however.

Found this place via TA and as it was close to my hotel, came here for a quick bite to eat. This is not your usual Indian! The experience is on a completely different level with staff explaining each dish and offering advice. The starters were like something from a tasting menu and really good. Definitely worth a visit but... More

As usual when in a new place on business I look on google for the nearest and best reviewed curry house hence the choice of Moksh. A very interesting menu with many items that I have not seen before. The classic starter selection in miniature was interesting but not sure about the savoury ice cream in the deconstructed onion bhaji.... More

this is a little different and the starters gave cause to be impressed, innovative and tasty, particularly the Einstein. The mains were, to be honest a little disappointing. The duck vindaloo (correctly stated not to be too hot) sounded great. However the duck breast was large and dry and the sauce on the side (nice idea) made me think of... More

This 2nd experience to Moksh did certainly live up to all the current hype and did provide a memorable evening with friends. The interpretation of the food ensured that each plate was different and enhanced from all other Indian meals sampled to date. Flavours were sophisticated and subtle and it was indeed a journey that did touch all five senses..... More

Whenever we are in the bay and hungry for a curry Moksh wins hands down everytime! - if you can get a table as like all great restaurants, its always busy! They offer a tasting menu that is great value for money! It is quite fancy pants, but we like that as a treat. Each course has some theatre to... More

After having visited my friends in Cardiff almost 5 times in the passed few months we have been unable to book Moksh, but on Saturday 30th January 2016 we got a table booked!! Best Indian I have ever had in my life. Insane Cocktails. Stunning food. Amazing atmosphere. To top it off the head chef comes round and talks you... More

Something a bit different which makes a change from the standard indian. Haven't been in quite a while but they've really improved their menu and it's very creative. Starter presented in a picnic basket was a nice touch. Service was excellent. Some people may think its pricey but £81 for 2 courses each and a bottle of prosecco for 2... More

My boyfriend, his mum and I went to Moksh on Saturday evening and we were treated so well that even if our food hadn’t been as incredible as it was, I still would have written a review to compliment them on their hospitality. The restaurant was very busy when we were there but we were so well looked after by... More

Ate here last week and managed to get in early as it was a non booking. Very good service and choices on the menu were great with a waiter helping us to choose. Cannot fault the food when it arrived. Definitley would return.
